I had the worst experience ever with Honda canal walk century city😔… I don’t know is it because I’m very young and a woman that I had to experienced the worst first time buying car experience or I’m just unlucky and got the worst salesman experience ever. This was my first car and I purchased the car cash with my hard earned saved up money and what do I get in return a vehicle with a lot of faults and missing car parts. From day one on arrival from another province ( Northern Cape )I found the vehicle on the show floor with minor problems that could be fixed and I was promised they could be fixed it when I say minor problems I mean the R-line badge that was missing, the sunroof blackout curtain that was unserviceable, the car was due for service ,the foggy right front light) see when I say minor!!!!. My question is why was it put on adverti*****t if it still needed attention what if I wanted to leave with the car on that day ? I had to leave without the car yet I purchased it. The excitement of buying my first car and cash made me not look at the red flags 🚩 of everything that was wrong about this car .What hurt me the most is the salesman( Niyaaz)failed to keep me updated about the vehicle I had to ask feedback like someone that’s desperate just so I can be at ease. The car stayed at the dealership for a week fixing the minor problems of which was agreed on but instead none of that was done except the service. I received the vehicle without the VW sign infront of which on the viewing day it was on, the R-line bumper Badge was placed on the wrong side, coz where did you ever see an front bumper R-line badge on the left? The front light had fog which the salesman (Niyaaz )**** and said was sorted, worst part ever the car came with no papers not even one, not even a Delivery consent form where I must sign stating how I received the vehicle and in what condition it is in . Niyaaz failed to keep me updated the hole week it’s as if he was doing me a favor. The car arrived with an old man who had no answers but just a travel bag in his hand and ready to go back to Cape Town on the same day .All of this happened on the 27th of September on a Saturday, so with all of this happening when I tried to call the dealership which was at 15:34 the same day all numbers were disconnected I couldn’t get through to them I was then left with a car I no longer wanted and had to wait till Monday to login a complaint. Please tell me what is the job of a manager if I received a vehicle in this horrible condition? Is the manager not supposed to oversee that I get the car in good a condition like anyone else that steps in the dealership? I do not recommend Honda canal walk to anyone please learn from my experience I do not wish this to anyone not even an enemy. My first experience became a nightmare from Hell.
