WORST !!! WORST !!!WORST !!! experience and dealership ever!!!! FAULTY VEHICLE !!! FOREIGN PARTS IN ENGINE !!! RUDE SALESMAN Niyaaz: first salesman who in the week of delivering the car resigned and left the dealership with this mess Louis: Second salesman who completed this deal knowing very well what was wrong with the car , and now is very rude telling me what do I want from them…a Brand New car???… I’v been reserving my experience and comments about this dealership because I loved the car and didn’t want to creat animosity between myself and them because I was hoping they could take responsibility for their salesman selling me a faulty vehicle actually way beyond faulty ….from the start they delivered my car with an old man that overnighted in my vehicle as I could smell the car had a bad smell of someone that slept in it. On arrival the VW sign was missing, no delivery consent form or vehicle paperwork just a smelling car with missing parts and an empty tank with warning signs on the dashboard, I took the the car because the old man was exhausted and left stranded after dropping my car. Long story short it’s two months now with the car and I’m fixing this vehicle every week , I even drove to Cape Town risking my life in this faulty vehicle on my own expense hoping they would do as promised and fix the car but three weeks later after stripping the bumper i find foreign parts In the vehicle that could have me in an accident on the way back but thanks God he carried me. I’m now sitting with a vehicle that has many foreign parts in the engine put by their mechanics and claim they don’t know anything. Now I’m being told by one of their Salesmen’s who goes by the name of “Louis” it’s as if I want a brand new vehicle from them. I’m still waiting for Louis to get back to me with the way forward but my advice do not buy a car from this dealership they will sell you a faulty vehicle with a warm welcome smile and still laugh and act as if they care ….. My first vehicle purchase just became my worst nightmare and experience ever as a young lady that saved up so long just to get her first car as a faulty vehicle…(I’m Broken) this Dealership tore me apart. Please make sure you go with a someone that know about cars coz they will definitely take advantage of you especially if you a lady.
I had the worst experience ever with Honda canal walk century city😔… I don’t know is it because I’m very young and a woman that I had to experienced the worst first time buying car experience or I’m just unlucky and got the worst salesman experience ever. This was my first car and I purchased the car cash with my hard earned saved up money and what do I get in return a vehicle with a lot of faults and missing car parts. From day one on arrival from another province ( Northern Cape )I found the vehicle on the show floor with minor problems that could be fixed and I was promised they could be fixed it when I say minor problems I mean the R-line badge that was missing, the sunroof blackout curtain that was unserviceable, the car was due for service ,the foggy right front light) see when I say minor!!!!. My question is why was it put on adverti*****t if it still needed attention what if I wanted to leave with the car on that day ? I had to leave without the car yet I purchased it. The excitement of buying my first car and cash made me not look at the red flags 🚩 of everything that was wrong about this car .What hurt me the most is the salesman( Niyaaz)failed to keep me updated about the vehicle I had to ask feedback like someone that’s desperate just so I can be at ease. The car stayed at the dealership for a week fixing the minor problems of which was agreed on but instead none of that was done except the service. I received the vehicle without the VW sign infront of which on the viewing day it was on, the R-line bumper Badge was placed on the wrong side, coz where did you ever see an front bumper R-line badge on the left? The front light had fog which the salesman (Niyaaz )**** and said was sorted, worst part ever the car came with no papers not even one, not even a Delivery consent form where I must sign stating how I received the vehicle and in what condition it is in . Niyaaz failed to keep me updated the hole week it’s as if he was doing me a favor. The car arrived with an old man who had no answers but just a travel bag in his hand and ready to go back to Cape Town on the same day .All of this happened on the 27th of September on a Saturday, so with all of this happening when I tried to call the dealership which was at 15:34 the same day all numbers were disconnected I couldn’t get through to them I was then left with a car I no longer wanted and had to wait till Monday to login a complaint. Please tell me what is the job of a manager if I received a vehicle in this horrible condition? Is the manager not supposed to oversee that I get the car in good a condition like anyone else that steps in the dealership? I do not recommend Honda canal walk to anyone please learn from my experience I do not wish this to anyone not even an enemy. My first experience became a nightmare from Hell.
