WORST !!! WORST !!!WORST !!! experience and dealership ever!!!! FAULTY VEHICLE !!! FOREIGN PARTS IN ENGINE !!! RUDE SALESMAN Niyaaz: first salesman who in the week of delivering the car resigned and left the dealership with this mess Louis: Second salesman who completed this deal knowing very well what was wrong with the car , and now is very rude telling me what do I want from them…a Brand New car???… I’v been reserving my experience and comments about this dealership because I loved the car and didn’t want to creat animosity between myself and them because I was hoping they could take responsibility for their salesman selling me a faulty vehicle actually way beyond faulty ….from the start they delivered my car with an old man that overnighted in my vehicle as I could smell the car had a bad smell of someone that slept in it. On arrival the VW sign was missing, no delivery consent form or vehicle paperwork just a smelling car with missing parts and an empty tank with warning signs on the dashboard, I took the the car because the old man was exhausted and left stranded after dropping my car. Long story short it’s two months now with the car and I’m fixing this vehicle every week , I even drove to Cape Town risking my life in this faulty vehicle on my own expense hoping they would do as promised and fix the car but three weeks later after stripping the bumper i find foreign parts In the vehicle that could have me in an accident on the way back but thanks God he carried me. I’m now sitting with a vehicle that has many foreign parts in the engine put by their mechanics and claim they don’t know anything. Now I’m being told by one of their Salesmen’s who goes by the name of “Louis” it’s as if I want a brand new vehicle from them. I’m still waiting for Louis to get back to me with the way forward but my advice do not buy a car from this dealership they will sell you a faulty vehicle with a warm welcome smile and still laugh and act as if they care ….. My first vehicle purchase just became my worst nightmare and experience ever as a young lady that saved up so long just to get her first car as a faulty vehicle…(I’m Broken) this Dealership tore me apart. Please make sure you go with a someone that know about cars coz they will definitely take advantage of you especially if you a lady.

I got the most extremely bad service from this shop..went to buy a fan belt which only arrived after a month and i never got a call from the shop telling me wen i should come collect the belt. When the belt finally arrived i found out it was the wrong belt. Took me another month to be told sorry we don't kmow where to get the belt. Finally fount the belt at Master Parts. I requested for my money back. Was told i needed to verify myself. I was never asked for anything before buying. They only took my money.. Then I got told the lady who refunds is not available. Pathetic for a big brand name.. Poor service i experienced.Wud never recommend anyone.

My nightmare at Mekor Honda Cape Town I First saw them advertising a Renault Duster 1.5 DCI 4X4 2015 Model, i had the exact same vehicle that was written off just months before the same kilos even the colour was the same (just a mention that i have something to compare the vehicle to) I phoned them up to come and show me the vehicle, after a bit of back and forth they agreed to bring the vehicle to my work, when the vehicle arrived it was by looks alone in good condition (cosmetically) just prior to them showing me the vehicle they mentioned there was no problems on it at all and i asked what year the tyres was they said 2023 when the vehicle arrived the tyres was 2021 year (still is to this day), the seat was loose and the radio did not work, the sales rep said contradictingly based on the previous feedback that they are aware of it, and that they are also aware of the vehicle pulling to the left. after a short test drive i said i will take the vehicle and within hours i sent them all of the information they needed to close the deal, they said it is most likely that i can get the vehicle the next day. and that's here it started. i only got the vehicle almost 2 weeks later (where i had to rent a vehicle while waiting on my expense) the reason the salesman said is for the repairs as mentioned above. my opinion they knew about the faults and should have sorted it before advertising it, anyway after the repairs above was done, and i finally had the vehicle, i noted the seat was still loose, they informed me they did not replace the fault they just welded the seat, according to me the seat is part of the vehicle safety, is it reasonable for them to just weld it on? the radio was installed by a sub standard place so the hands free set does not work correctly, i took it back to the installer they just said what they think it might be and sent me on my was (with no fix) the vehicle is still puling to the right, they said it might be the tyre pressure, LOL... i tjeked it was fine so as one usually only notice faults when driving i brought the following to their attention car Whistle sound, clutch shutter, reverse noises, steering noise when fully locked, vehicle gets about 2 to 3 km less per litre as my other vehicle as mentioned the same car etc. so as they offer and told me they are responsible for the repairs as long as i report it within 3 months. i reported after a week of driving. to arrange this i was speaking to the rep, who can never give me an answer on anything, but only say, let me speak to my manager and get back to me, sho just let me speak to him and you don't have to play middle man. (can the manager maybe contact me) so anyway they said they have a look at the faults, but again the rep is on leave for 3 weeks, i have now been waiting almost 2 weeks with no way forward. it seems the reason is they don't have a vehicle for me to drive at the moment, as i said i am not willing to rent a vehicle on my own expense again. but the way the other faults was addressed i am quite certain at this point their feedback to me will be they did not pick up the newly reported faults or some feedback similar. and i do think it might me major problems, any advice out there, whom can i consult, can one possibly approach the ombudsman

Buying cars can feel like pulling teeth sometimes, but have to commend Aidan and the Honda team for their service. Aidan especially reacted with patience, was professional and respectful at all times throughout the deal.

I bought a VW Caddy from Niyaaz at Mekor Honda at Cana Walk in Century City. Today it is 4 weeks ago that I took delivery and I still don't have the license docs for the vehicle. I have explained to Niyaaz multiple times that I cant get the tracking device activated without the docs, but it just doesn't seem to bother him. I have send Niyaaz multiple messages but he doesn't even answer my messages.

This is the worst car dealer in terms of customer service! I took my 2020 Mazda 3 1.5 Active 5dr for a simple 60000km service on 17/12/2021. I was then informed upon collecting my car after the service had been done that the service was incomplete; there were 2 filters (air filter and coolant filter) that needed to be changed but were out of stock. I took surprise at the fact that I was only informed of this only when I went to collect my car supposing that everything had been completed as I never received any update during the day to let me know what challenged they were. Nonetheless I was told that the 2 outstanding filters would be available the following week I.e by 24/12/21. The following week came and passed and I neither received the missing parts for my car nor any communication from the dealer explaining why those parts were not there. At the end of the second week I drove to the dealership to find out what was going on since I had received no update whatsoever. Upon arrival I was assisted by Celeste Goliath who had been my service advisor from the beginning. I left the dealership on the 30th/12/21 more frustrated and furious than ever before after Celeste Goliath had ridiculed me for voicing out my frustration to her at her poor communication. She told me I was not the only customer waiting for parts and that it was not Mekor Mazda's problem that the parts were not on stock. Long story short, she told me the parts would be available in the last week of January 2022. I left the dealer quite frustrated at this ordeal and asked Celeste to put everything in writing and email me so that I can have proof of everything that had happened Today is the 1st of February 2022, I have not received any of the outstanding parts for my car neither have I received any communication apologizing or explaining why I have had to wait this long for a simple car service to be completed. I am very angry at the fact that I am not kept up to date with what is happening regarding those outstanding parts and the fact that when I went to complain at the dealer I was ridiculed and walked out in shame hoping so.ething would be done but to date nothing has changed. This dealer is a SCAM!
