What a wonderful place. I stayed in the Sonneblom unit and it was beautiful and peaceful. The swimming pool was clean as well and the rest of the facilities. I highly recommend this natural beauty.

My friends and I visited Mentorskraal few weeks ago. This was not the first time I had gone there but the service this time around was exceptional thank you to our host Steven. We were not treated bad last time but no one was present. This time around Steven was there and he was just fantastic. He welcomed us, made sure we were settled and was literally a phone call away. I'm sure that's part of the service but he went the extra mile. He was there in 5 min when we needed assistance and because it was raining and we were all girls, he started a fire for us!! My friends enjoyed their stay and we definitely coming back thanks to him. Keep up the great work!! You are an asset to that place!!! Thank you for your exceptional, world class service!!!!

On Saturday 27th August there was a Rugby festival in Humansdorp with schools from East London going through to play. We did in fact have accomodation in PE as our son was playing. However his coach suggested that we came and stayed at Mentorskraal. I called Mentorskraal a couple of times and the second call assured me that they would be able to accomodate us as we were 3. Well when we arrived the gate was opened for us but on arriving in Reception it all appeared to be locked up. A few moments later a women came out and told us they were full. When I did point out that I had called she repeated that they were full telling me that they had Nahoon school there. No mention of Gonubie Primary. I am still very taken aback that people are so racially blind. Now how to explain to a 12 year old that we may not stay there as his dad & brother are black. He knows about colour but unfortunately this trip taught him that there are still ugly people out there.
