It is an absolute disgrace that this company just want to ****** people. I have a Mercedes SL500 and i got a red battery light warning on my dash after steam cleaning the engine. Also the Sensotronic Brake Hold didn't work after that. I have done my research on these issues and everywhere on the web it says the codes can just be cleared/reset with the diagnostic system.. So i called MB Century City and spoke with the workshop manager and asked if they would be kind enough just to clear/reset that code for the battery light. I was told it is not a simple process and not that easy and the car has to be booked in for a full diagnostic process and it will cost me a minimum of R1500 per hour.. rediculous i tell you... I took my car to someone that has an Autel Maxisys scanner and within 5 minutes everything was cleared and all systems were working perfectily and best of all, it did not cost me a cent!.. Shame on Mercedes Century City for there client services and just being plain GREEDY!

I had the most amazing experience when I took my vehicle for a scheduled service at Century City Mercedes Benz. Andries, the service advisor was nothing short of a blessing. He took me through process, providing timelines and what it would take to get the service done. When I needed explanations he was on hand to offer answers.

Mercedes-Benz Century city has a very bad operation and service. I dropped my car off at the Mercedes-Benz Century City on 14 October 2024 to the service advisor ( Satish Parbhoo) regarding the gear and radio buttons problem. So Satish Parbhoo mentioned to me the parts will be ordered and it will take 3 to 4 days to get to them. I have to leave my car. I said fine. So I asked him to check what is wrong with the Radio and let me know by Tuesday the 15th 2024. On Tuesday I have to call him almost 5 time dropping off messages. No call back from him and one thing with Century City. You will stay on the phone for almost 5 minutes for somebody to pick up. Very poor service customer service I receive during those. Period. On Wednesday 16 October 2024 I called for Satish Parbhoo and the receptionist will leave him a message to call me back and he did not call me back the whole of that day till 4 o’clock or 4:30 where when they close at 5 o’clock, that’s when he call me to say they cannot fix the Radio. This is when I started getting worried about the level of customer service. I’m receiving already from Mercedes-Benz Century City. On Friday, 18 October 2024 Satish Parbhoo called me around 12:00 to say my car will be done by 15:00 and I went there at 3:30 to fetch the car paid signed the documentation and left while I was on the freeway in traffic I found out that my LCD on the radio has ink on them and I call Satish Parbhoo to inform him and he said bring it back on Monday. On Monday 15 October 2024 I I showed him the damage and now you start coming with an excuse and technical reason to say they are not the one responsible for that but when I drop my car, my LCD on the radio was totally fine but after they check it. There was an ink on the LCD. And Satish Parbhoo called his workshop manager Dean Guimaraes I explained to him as well when I drop off this the car there was no ink on the LCD. I need also deny responsibility so I asked him to write an incident report to tell me what was the journey and the process they used to repair or to check my car, till today, Thursday 24 October 2024 I have not heard from both of them I would never recommend anyone to take the car for service at the Mercedes-Benz Century City. Your car will be worse than when it went there. I promise you that. And I’m following this with the lawyers

I took my vehicle recently for service and asked to check why my rear wheel is slowly going flat.from 05:00 my car went in for B service- I got a call to collect my car at 17h00( at same time they tell me thjey close 17h00-When I received my car , just drove out to mall, my tyre warning came on again! I took it to tyre place who spotted crack on inside of my rim.Now I had to beg for a quote to replace..>.R16000 for Rim and R>2000 for labour to remove wheel and replace!! and had to come from Germany 4-7 weeks , but my calls found x3 in JHB 3 days away! The after sale service is really poor compared to other car dealers..Its like they afraid to share information - "this is what you need , and this is what we are going to charge you "- No personal service at all!

Worst service ever. I made six calls to obtain a quote for 5L synthetic oil on 04/072024. Sadly the phone just rang at the parts department. After the four attempts I requested to speak to the dealer principal, guess what, just rang on both attempts. I eventually logged an official complaint with Mercedes customer care. They are just as pathetic. Eventually purchased the oil elsewhere. I shall not recommend doing any purchases with them. If you are desperate, I ask for Lance only. Sadly Lance was on leave when I called.They don't even deserve a one star rating. There should be an option for zero.

Worst service ever. I made six calls to obtain a quote for 5L synthetic oil on 04/072024. Sadly the phone just rang at the parts department. Poor service experience through the service consultants and their workshop. My car's wheel had lock nuts fall off while it transit because they weren't *****ed back in properly. The workshop had reported an issue to the service consultant, but she didn't commit it to me. Now, the car had to go back to the workshop after being serviced, which led to the total failure of the Aircon Compressor. An expensive part to replace.

I am so disappointed at Mercedes Benz Century city. took my car in for service on 08 February and collected on the Friday the 9th. I just noticed now that my windshield washer is pumping slow. I went to the garage because i thought it ran out of water but to my surprise the water is still fine. I didn't have this problem prior taking my car to Mercedes for services. so obviously they did something during service. now I'm questioning if the service was even done properly. I paid a lot of money for this poor service and I want them to be accountable for this. i need someone to contact me and fix this urgently
