I took my car in to Mercedes Benz Bryanston for repairs. The service to my car came with no problem. The car was perfectly fixed. Unfortunately I forgot some money in my car. I first noted that just over R20 coins was taken from the ashtray space and thought, "ok it is just change!" I also forgot an envelope with a R1000 in the car and it got stolen by one of the employees. I reported the matter. Got promised it will be looked in and I will receive feedback asap. Again unfortunately I had to do follow up myself. Then due to my persistence the Customer Service manager called and responded, "Sorry we can't take responsibility for this." To me this is unacceptable! This is theft of just over a R1000. And to top it I was served with a lame customer service after starting out well with the repairs of my car. This is a matter I can not leave like this.
