We have had an awful experience with Metro lifestyle Centurion’s upholstery department. Firstly the work was not done in the timeline agreed upon. Secondly once received , it was tacky, untidy & unprofessional. Our furniture looked better before we gave it in (I have photos to prove this). Even worse they sent dodgy delivery men who apparently did not work for them to our home which made us feel very unsafe , damaged our walls while carrying the furniture in, had my husband help them and he got injured in the process.
I am appalled by their level of service. I payed on the day of expected delivery after a call from them saying they can’t deliver without payment which is understandable but then they only delivered unfinished furniture a week later. I was then told to deal with someone outside the company who had my furniture. It was insane, half of my base was covered in a different fabric , nails sticking out, tears in fabric . They collected it, apologized took another 2 weeks to redo it and now I’m sitting with the final product a few days in and feeling sharp things poking through the fabric, patches of fabric not stitched in properly , uneven puffiness . Just horrendous workmanship. It was overall a nightmare of an experience. I am not even going to bother contacting them again to rectify as they are just not worth my energy .
