Refusal of a refund within 7 days of purchase
<div>I went to Parys for the long weekend and bought a Carrol Boyes salad server set on the Friday, but when I got back home on the Monday I realised it was a duplicate. The store was closed on the Tuesday and when I contacted them on the Wednesday they said I would have had to have returned it on the same day in order to get a refund. The set cost R1800 - I would warn everyone to be very certain about what you but from them as you will be stuck with it. Think twice before purchasing any of their Carrol Boyes stock.</div>

05 May 2023, 18:46After sending photos of my original set of salad servers and the one I purchased over the weekend, I was sent a message which said - 'hope you find someone special to give them to as a present'. This business is operating in total contravention of the Consumer Protection Act which stipulates that the consumer may return an item in it's original packaging for a full refund within seven days if it does not meet the purposes for which it was originally purchased. There has been absolutely no attempt to resolve this issue from their side and their attitude is extremely condescending.
