I purchased a Miele fridge and freezer for over R40,000 in November 2021. The fridge is perfectly fine, but the freezer door is rusting badly on the outside. There is obviously a factory fault with the protective coating because I am based in Pretoria and have not used strong or abrasive chemicals to clean the door. The warranty has subsequently lapsed, and Miele have offered to give me 30% discount on a new door which will cost me R18,000 after the discount. I can buy a new freezer for that price. I believe that this is terrible service for such a "premium" product, and would not recommend Miele to anyone.

Excellent service and followup. Only delay due to parts ordered from Germany but target date was kept, installed that very morning. Highly efficient.

The technician was sent out on the same day that I submitted my request for assistance. The correct parts were brought along so that the repair could be made immediately. The technician was professional, friendly and helpful. My dishwasher was back up and running on the same day I discovered the problem, after a thorough clean and repair.
