Unpaid Salary for Several Months – Still Awaiting Resolution

I dedicated close to a decade of service to this company and always strived to uphold high professional standards. Sadly, my departure has been overshadowed by the company’s failure to honour its financial obligations to me.

A formal Acknowledgement of Debt was received ( last year), confirming the outstanding salary owed. Since then, I have received only a small fraction of what is due. I’ve made consistent efforts to communicate and accommodate their situation — including being flexible on how and where the payment could be made — yet no concrete payment plan or meaningful progress has followed.

Each month, I receive the same explanations about business struggles, staffing issues, or delayed client payments. While I have empathy for business challenges, it has now been close to a year, and the debt remains unsettled with no updates, despite assurances.

In today’s economy, it is simply not sustainable or ethical to expect former employees to go unpaid for such an extended period. This situation has placed significant financial strain on me, and while I was reluctant to pursue public channels out of respect for the relationship I once had with the company, however the lack of follow-through of payment has left me with no alternative.
