I dedicated close to a decade of service to this company and always strived to uphold high professional standards. Sadly, my departure has been overshadowed by the company’s failure to honour its financial obligations to me. A formal Acknowledgement of Debt was received ( last year), confirming the outstanding salary owed. Since then, I have received only a small fraction of what is due. I’ve made consistent efforts to communicate and accommodate their situation — including being flexible on how and where the payment could be made — yet no concrete payment plan or meaningful progress has followed. Each month, I receive the same explanations about business struggles, staffing issues, or delayed client payments. While I have empathy for business challenges, it has now been close to a year, and the debt remains unsettled with no updates, despite assurances. In today’s economy, it is simply not sustainable or ethical to expect former employees to go unpaid for such an extended period. This situation has placed significant financial strain on me, and while I was reluctant to pursue public channels out of respect for the relationship I once had with the company, however the lack of follow-through of payment has left me with no alternative.

I worked at Migration and Investment for over five years and was committed and dedicated throughout my time there. When I resigned in July last year, I was due my final salary, which unfortunately was not paid. I opened a CCMA case to seek resolution, but was approached by the company’s legal team and asked to withdraw the case, with the assurance that payment would be made. In good faith, I agreed and withdrew the case. Sadly, this turned out to be a tactic, and only a partial payment was made months later in November. Since then, despite multiple follow-ups, the remaining balance has not been paid. I was told not to contact the company and to deal only with their legal team, who have since become unresponsive. Now during tax season, I’ve discovered that my payslip does not reflect what I was actually paid—leaving me potentially responsible for tax on money I never received. I have requested that they correct my payslip, but this too has been ignored. Late salary payments were a regular issue while working at the company, always explained away due to financial struggles. While I have made peace with the fact that I will likely never receive the money owed to me, I am writing this review not out of spite, but to raise awareness. The company’s combination of financial instability, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability is unacceptable. What’s most disappointing is the disregard shown to someone who gave years of loyal service. If you’re considering working with or for this company, I urge you to proceed with caution. And to the company—if you do read this, please at the very least amend my payslip so I am not taxed on funds I never received.

Hi everyone be very careful with this company as they are ****mers and cons they seem to be very legit but they will rob you. Me and my wife app**** through them to find us jobs in New Zealand their offices are in centurion but when we went it was empty with only 1 person, their promise to us according to what they do is to find you a job and handle the relocation process for you. So about 2 years back they had a special running if you pay them R80000 they will sort everything out after 2 years they kept changing people to deal with our portfolio and in that 2 years not a single interview or job was found. We then decided to cancel due them not finding us anything in 2 years, they refused to refund us our money even after they did nothing for us. In the contract they consider everything earned but they don’t give you no invoice of what work was done and we asked them to prove to us with detailed information of what work was done how the money was earned they refused to do that because they had done no work besides send us a few emails that was it. Bottom line they are con artists and are ****** people as they only will go out of their way for white people and if u are a different race they will **** you for your money and you will get no help from them. Lying *****’s they are I hope someone can sue them them for what they are doing, absolutely ******. Please I advise everyone stay away from these people they will promise you the world just to get your money and then abandon you please share to everyone that is looking to go abroad Do not use this company

On the 1st of October, I began working at Migration and Investment, ready and eager to contribute. However, what unfolded over the next few weeks left me questioning the professionalism and integrity of this company. Just three weeks into the job, without proper training or support, the manager, Steven Smith, informed me that he believed I was “not fit for the job.” Confident in my abilities, I pushed back, as I couldn’t see what was so challenging about reading a script to clients interested in immigrating to New Zealand. But Steven had already made up his mind, and no amount of reasoning would change his stance. Shortly after, I was presented with a termination agreement that promised full payment for my one month of service. I left around the 19th of October, expecting the payment to be made as agreed by the 7th of November. But that’s when the excuses began. Steven informed me that they were waiting for a tax directive from SARS and that he had followed up with their accountants. This seemed odd, considering the process shouldn’t take that long. Despite numerous follow-ups from my side, I was met with silence—and eventually, Steven blocked me. After weeks of frustration, I finally received an email from the CEO, Sean Collins. He apologized and thanked me for my patience, only to explain that they were waiting on payments from clients. He assured me they would pay my full salary but offered R10,000 in the meantime. Fast forward to today, December 12th—almost three months later—and I am still waiting for the balance of my one-month salary. This ordeal has left me wondering: was I truly "not fit for the job," or is this company simply incapable of paying its employees? Steven portrays a macho persona, but his actions have been anything but professional. The lack of communication, repeated excuses, and failure to honor agreements reflect poorly on the company’s management. For anyone considering working with or for Migration and Investment, think twice. My experience has been a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone—whether as an employee or a client. It’s a shame to see such unprofessionalism and disregard for people’s livelihoods. I wonder if I’ll ever see the balance they owe me, but one thing is clear: I will not stay silent about this unacceptable behavior.

Very happy with the experience over all. At the start I've done all my research and assumed I knew how to do everything required for migration, and it turned out what I knew was not even close to reality. The team definitely assisted in ensuring a smooth migration process!

I am incredibly impressed with how efficiently Investment New Zealand handled my visa application; it was approved much earlier than I anticipated. Their attention to detail and proactive communication made the entire process seamless and stress-free. It's clear that they genuinely care about their employees, and this outstanding support speaks volumes about the company's commitment to facilitating opportunities for growth.
