I would avoid dealing with this company at all costs. I purchased a Panache boat from him last year July and immediately had an issue on our first outing. Engine overheat light kept going off, they made a poor effort to check the motor however the issue was not resolved. After several requests assist again. in Dec I had a commitment he would rectify the issue upon reopening in Jan, unfortunately they never honoured their commitment. I had no choice but to take the boat to another service provider who found several issues incurring a R12 928.00 bill. I have since given Craig and Nici 14 days to respond to my letter of demand claiming for the repairs which they were supposed to handle, they have ignored the letter of demand. I too, will be approaching the courts against this company, same as another gentleman on Hello Peter. It seems their service is great when the sale is taking place however when it was time of own up to a faulty motor they sold me they could not honour our contract , no response from them to date either. I have kept all records of What app and email communication for legal purposes.

During February/March 2020 Marine Mobile Services fitted a new 115HP Mercury motor to my boat. It was also agreed that they would sell the motor I had on my boat (a 75HP Mercury) and I would receive R35 000 for the motor. I tested the new 115 HP motor after the lockdown and found that the newly fitted speedo did not work. I took it back and the speedo still does not work. Much more problematic is that I found out during October 2020 that my 75HP motor had been sold. I immediately contacted Nici at MMS who indicated that they would pay me the owed money. They did not pay me and notwithstanding me reminding them of the owed money on numerous occasions thereafter and threatening legal action they have refused to pay. I have also of late noticed on hellopeter that others have also encountered serious issues with Mobile Marine Services.

Bought a Boat from Craig Hanley for 135K-Eventually when I received the boat i thought everything was OK......first time on water I noticed that the speaker system he fitted was sub-standard and not all speakers was working. Also the boat took some water in(leaking) even though I was issued a Buoyancy Certificate. I thought it was the Plugs and after I had to fix the speaker system (cost R600) i took the boat on the water for the second time. More water came in as before I then took it out and took it to a boat manufacturer close by. He noticed that Craig had *****ed 3 holes into the boat that went right through the boat. He also took video footage of where the water was leaking through. I had to replace the Amp due to water damage and 2 6x9 speakers due to water damage.Also the boat had to be repaired where the *****s went through the body......Craig's reaction? "you should have phoned me" No sorry no explanation no excuse nothing he just keeps denying any wrong doing. This person is not a very nice person and my dealings with him from a-z was horrible. I have to claim my damages now back from the Court and will lay a charge with SAMSA for the fraud he committed by issuing a Buoyancy Certificate without actually testing the boat.
