On the 2nd July 2023 during the National Arts Festival in Makhanda, I bought a black boot to the value of R1150.00. I requested a size 4. I realized the next day that I was given a size 3. I saw the cell number on the leather key holder they gave me and I phoned. The guy advised me to return the boot and I sent it to my brother to take it to their store for an exchange. He took the boot back to Ottery branch. When he got there he was given a navy blue boot not the black that I bought and he was told that they do not have a black one which i did not understand because i have been phoning these guys for almost a month, they should have made the boot. I phoned the owner again who promised to investigate and call me back. He did not phone me and I decided to phone again. He told me that my brother should go back to the store there is a black boot. There was no apology nothing. I told him that I am unhappy because I'm the one always getting in touch with them and they do not care. The guy asked me "what do I want him to do" I told him that at least they should treat me as a customer and show me that they care. He was so rude to me and clearly does not care about customers. I asked him to refund me and take the boot back because it is unacceptable that I'm the one running after after they have given me the wrong boot. I will never buy from Mooo Shoes again.

I bought a pair of sandals from Mooo Shoes 18 months ago for R140. It lasted 18 months. I bought a new pair in December for the same price last December. I found it strange that the price had not gone up. I noticed that the main strap was narrower. (Cutting costs).
After 2 weeks I noticed that the heels were wearing badly. This new pair's sole was of a totally different quality. Seems like the density + hardness is not the same. Even the back heel has compressed + slid backwards. It is like the glue used, is not totally compatible with this compound? @ this rate of wear, if this pair will last me about 3 months?
I took it back to their shop in Maynard Mall Wynberg 3 weeks ago. The shop Manager/Assistant told me she was not authorised to either swop or give my money back. It had to be repaired. I told her that this was not acceptable. She then told me that I should have bought a more expensive sandal. I decided to leave the sandals there. I was told it will take 5 working days.
I E- Mailed their workshop and got the response that the rubber batch was defective because of the load shedding that effected that particular batch in the oven.
I did not believe this. I think it is i
