I am an Uber driver currently using a rented car from Moove. On September 21, 2024, I was involved in an accident with a taxi driver at a traffic light on Jan Smuts. My car was subsequently towed by Help24.
Since the accident, I have received no updates on the status of the repairs. Despite numerous calls and messages, the only information I receive is that my car is awaiting authorization for repairs. I have also reached out to inquire about a courtesy car, as Uber is my sole source of income, but I have been informed that no vehicles are available. My weekly earnings have been held since this whole ordeal, leaving me in a dire situation.
I attempted to speak with Salome, the operations manager, who has been unhelpful and dismissive, providing little assistance or feedback regarding my situation. I feel stuck in limbo without a source of income and am extremely disappointed with the poor service from Moove.
