On the December 15th on Monday afternoon I went to fill up petrol at Shell Garage Mortimer Toyota in Allen Street. I also asked for oil. When I swiped my card the speed point declined with an "exceeded daily limit error ". I immediately transferred funds from fnb to absa just to use a different card and it declined again with the same error. Delani Kubheka who was assisting me made me feel like I don't have funds in my account. Even said why I'm not asking the person I'm with to pay for me. I then lost it telling him my cards have enough money and he rudely said I must go draw money in the store there's an ATM. I went and got charged a lot as capitec is not my bank. I gave Delani R1400 which was gonna cover petrol and oil. He gave me change and slip and I left. I didn't even bother to check if it was enough or not. When I'm halfway with my trip he called me telling me I didn't pay for oil. I said I gave you money for both oil and petrol, he told me he made a mistake and gave me an extra change. And I must bring it back, that's when I told him I'm not his friend I will bring it when I'm around Newcastle. That's when he called me a ***** and that I shouldn't bother bringing it back.

Earlier this year my husband had the misfortune of buying a 2019 Toyota double-cab from Mortimer Toyota Newcastle for R480000. He soon found that the protection plate and one of the inner linings holding the one mud flap were virtually falling off. The windscreen was chipped, the battery dead and the front and back tyres didn’t match. It would seem they’re not too choosy about the vehicles they take in. But his biggest problem was the paper work. He was told one lie after another every week for six months. Always telling him they’ll get back to him and never did. He eventually took the paperwork and is handling it himself. He’s still awaiting the service records as promised and of course the two Toyota jackets which never materialised. Letter shortened.

Toyota Vredenburg has always been the absolute best! We have purchased multiple vehicles by them and it is always such an absolute pleasure working mainly with Tracey-Lee, Rheta Duff, and Christo Momsen. Great staff always going out of their way!

Mortima Toyota Bethlehem is a FAILER, I sent my beautiful Toyota hilux 2700i double to be Serviced MAJOR SERVICE. To show mortima Toyota is a failure I give my car 08hoo but they finished to service as they said at 17hoo. Something I want to share with is mortima Toyota failed to service my car, oil filter was leaking oil, air filter dirty not being charged, the car was moving very hard as it was Friday, I leave there when they closed, I said I will contacted them on Monday. Monday I phoned to them, they were silly not want me to come, I said to me let me go to them in Bethlehem, when I arrived there they grouping them selves said in command that they worked with paper from head office, they continued telling me that they service car MAJOR SERVICE with out taking out all parts they said it will be expensive for me, that S why they did not removed air filter. On leaking oil filter they said they fixed it it was leaking as I was complaining. They gave me "TSI paper " that is technical information system, they said is paper used to service car. I have asked them why on this paper compared against PAYMENT RECEIPT, why on stars done by me on number 5 and number 14 on technical information system they said they done inspection, on payment receipt they charged me money. That shows mortima Toyota Bethlehem FAILING ME BY NOT SERVICING MY CAR, taking R7089. 00. Is better this company be closed, is useless,is better to refund my money to see some where other company except Toyota,Bethlehem mortima Toyota they lowered down the BRAND OF TOYOTA. Very much sadly my car is broken!!!!!

I bought a brand new car from them cash. They delivered it on Wednesday 18th August. On 22nd August I had an accident with it and it was written off. It didn't even have the Registration and number plates done yet. I got it and the Insurance paid out my money. I claimed the money for doing the registration, number plates and the fee of the company that does the queing for you. They refunded me for everything to the total of R1097.00. I ordered a new car again and paid cash again. I recieved my registration and number plates on Monday and sent the claim in for the same amount as above. Last night I got a refund of only R654.00. That was only for the registration. I feel this is bad service.

Best service ever received from the Service Manager during my December trip en route to my holiday destination. I acquired new fog light bulbs prior to leaving and took it with me on holiday with the aim of installing it. Once in Volksrust I realised that the specific bulbs does not fit tightly as it would need modification. i took a pit stop @ Mortimer Toyota merely to enquire if there's any way they could assist me. Said service manager told me to have a seat and they would look. WIthing half an hour he confirmed that they've managed to modify the bulbs and that all is working well. I had to pay a minimal insignificant charge for the labour. Cudos go to Mortimer Toyota but especially the service manager, especially for assisting me without an appointment as it was during the peak December holidays. Good Job guys, that's why I love my Toyota!!!!
