I purchased a Volkswagen T-Roc R-Line in May 2025, believing it to be in excellent, accident-free condition. In July 2025, I discovered through an independent dealer that the vehicle had been involved in four prior accidents, including one with R283,000 in repairs, which was never disclosed at the time of sale.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, the dealership refused to take responsibility or provide compensation. My legal team has been involved, and I have submitted a formal complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman and the National Consumer Commission. I am sharing this to inform other consumers and to highlight the importance of full disclosure when purchasing a vehicle.
