I purchased a Volkswagen T-Roc R-Line in May 2025, believing it to be in excellent, accident-free condition. In July 2025, I discovered through an independent dealer that the vehicle had been involved in four prior accidents, including one with R283,000 in repairs, which was never disclosed at the time of sale. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, the dealership refused to take responsibility or provide compensation. My legal team has been involved, and I have submitted a formal complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman and the National Consumer Commission. I am sharing this to inform other consumers and to highlight the importance of full disclosure when purchasing a vehicle.

My major service booking was made well in advance to ensure an early release because I stay 1hour+ away and cannot drive during dusk/dark. On arrival, I was told they are short staffed. Needless to say my vehicle left the workshop last. 3 months later, my diesel filter started to leak because of sand in the filter. They do not leave removed parts in vehicle like I am used to, so I do not even know if it was changed. The staff in front were friendly/courteous, but I'm not sure about the workshop staff... Do your services elsewhere!

This past Thursday 04 July 2024 i had my car serviced at VW mossel bay and the service included the replacement of a parking light bulb. Collected my car and today on the 9th July i drove through the storm and my dipped light failed. On arrival in mossel bay as it was not raining i openned the boot to check the bulb only to find the rubber cab is missing. Missing on the same left side headlight where VW worked. I took this up with them and they denied having touched the light. I now checked my service book and receipt only to find indeed light replacement was part of what im charged and worse my service book is not stamped to record the service. Very dissappointed at VW Mossel Bay for the first time in 14yrs of being a client to them.

Bought a VW Amarok 2023 from Mosselbay VW and wish to report that this dealership can be highly recommended . In particular we wish to commend the New Car Sales Executive, Downey Boonzaaier. Downey kept to his word and delivered on every aspect during the transaction. It was indeed a pleasant experience doing business with VW and Downey to conclude the transaction
