Bank with Standard bank my entire life & as such have both my personal and business account with them. The service offered by the Mossel Bay Business Banker is so bad even the word bad is an understatement. For more than 3 months now i have been attempting to have my business account changed. You send the business banker an email he does not respond, you call him on his office number or his cell you dont get answers , you go to the branch he ask you if you have an appointment. When you show him all the communications to reach him he simply just apologize and repeats the same none respond immediately after you leave. This is a last straw for me. Time to move to a new bank , i think Discovery Bank would do
This past Thursday 04 July 2024 i had my car serviced at VW mossel bay and the service included the replacement of a parking light bulb. Collected my car and today on the 9th July i drove through the storm and my dipped light failed. On arrival in mossel bay as it was not raining i openned the boot to check the bulb only to find the rubber cab is missing. Missing on the same left side headlight where VW worked. I took this up with them and they denied having touched the light. I now checked my service book and receipt only to find indeed light replacement was part of what im charged and worse my service book is not stamped to record the service. Very dissappointed at VW Mossel Bay for the first time in 14yrs of being a client to them.
Im insured with Auto & General. I was collided by a 3rd party while my car was stationary parked. I registered a claim with the insurer and it was approved the 1s Feb 2024. and assigned to Renewed Group for repair in Edenvale Gauteng despite me staying in the Western Cape and having never lived in Edenvale. Each time i call the insurer to inform them that they have asigned a panelbeater based in a different province to me , they tell me they will revert back to me via an assessor or Renewed Group will appoint their partner in my town. It is almost 2 months now awaiting for the appointment of a panelbeater to repair my car. THe car fender has now started rusting as a result of a long waiting period . This is sure not how a reputable insurance handles claims . I'm really disappointed
Took ownership of an apartment at The Blyde in Feb 2022. Balwin has an APP with which one uses to access The Blyde and to grant access to visitors. This seem to be selectively given to few owners and not to the others. Balwin Registered me on this APP as a Visitor and therefore with no ability to access or grant access into the complex using the APP. I am therefore always having to explain oneself at the complex gate in order to gain access to the complex and have to walk between my apartment and the gate to ask security to grant my visitors access. This has been been happening and been the case since February 2022 and i constantly as them to resolve my issue and they do nothing about it. It is disappointing of Balwin Properties and also the body corporate of The Blyde that they make people buy in their developments only to make living in the complex a nightmare
I have applied for Flexi option on my bond which was paid up earlier that the loan period . The consultant appointed to handle my flexi option application is the most useless. She send me an sms that i must call her office which i did for 3 days. You call the phone just ring unanswered and when you try again you find that the line has been taken off the hook as it then remain busy the whole day. Emailed the consultand and then she requested that i send the completed forms and support documents despite having emailed that already. I forwarded her the same email where the docs were attached and she responded with thanks she will attend to the application. 5 days go by and no respond. I email her again requesting update and she respond that i must email her my wife ID and marriage certificate. Mind you that all these documents are already attached in the email i send her. I find it disappointing and unprofessional of her . I am happy to tell FNB her name if need be
I encourage everyone to check their fibre accounts openned with Telkom. I was summoned with over R5 000 bill and thread of legal action for a fibre account while STILL WAITING FOR THE FIBRE TO BE INSTALLED .....had to visit their service office waiting on a long cue. A dispute has been lodge now . But ****it how disorganize can they be
On the 8th Jan 2018 i got my car towed into Palm Motors VW White River after it refused to start. They quoted me R7000 just to strip the car which i gave them a gi ahead for. One month down the line i still didnt know what was wring with my car except that its cylinderhead has been removed and sent to engineers for check at a cost of R3000. Each time i call them to inquire what has been found to be the problem i was told they are still waiting for feedback from their engineering service company. Eventualling early march i was informed valves and other parts need to be replaced at an additional cost of R67 000 including labour. I gave them a gi ahead amd my car was only ready for collection second last week of March 2018. Collected the car on the 29th March 2018 and drove it to Midrand and guess what the engine light came on and the car started vibrating wildly and i immediately telephoned them...as i was speaking the vibration stopped and engine light went off and they indicated should that prrsist i must have the car booked into one of the nearest VW. Late in the afternoon i drove to Limpopo with the car not problem. On my way i had to check car oil and when i do that i normally remove the vw engine plastic cover to blow off any dust before openning the oil cap. Suprisingly i find the engine breather and pentrol injector lines secured by cable ties as oppose to their normal hose clips. I immediately took a picture and emailed Palm Motors of the ****ty workmanship they have done. The service person Reneace Winkle that i was communicating with inducated she will let the service manager call me and the service manager Shane never did until u called him 3 days later where he indicated it was their mistake they had ordered the part and it had not arrived on time hence it never got fitted and thats why the car had cable ties and that i can have that replaced at any VW and they will either pay that VW directly or refund me. It was dissappointing considering i oaid them over R70k and no quality check was done on my car and i was asked to come collect the car despite other parts not having being replaced with correct ones. I proceeded with my trip to Limpopo and on arrival had the car unused for a day On the 31st March 2018 when i was in Polokwane the car just refused to start again after i had parked it to do shopping.i called Palm motor who refered me to VW Roadside assist and that i should settle VW Assist intervention at my cost including whatever repair that need to be done unless only if the problem is related to what they have worked on. VW polokwane found the car to be misfiting and having a faulty Petrol pump and charcoal fikter which they replaced and the car was functional. They also replaced the engine breather line that VW Palm motors forgot to replace. VW palm motors replaced the breather line on the basis that VW Palm motors will pay for it. When the car was ready WV palm motor had not paid VW Polokwane therefore i had to pay for the breather line replacement out of my pocket as otherwise my car could not be released . I submitted the invoice to VW Palm Motor white river and spoken to Shane the service manager who also agreed he will reimburse me. It is one month since submitting the claim to them and still i have not received my refund ...each time i call them they tell me they are awaiting for their superior to authorize the refund. VW Palm motor customer service sucks and need sorting out. Im sharing this so that the public can know what a bad dealershio is VW Palm Motors Ehite River. I would not wish anyone to go through their ****ty service
I made a stop by Petroport Mosselbay, Purchased a bottle of water , chewing gun and Sweet Chilly Chips. The chips happen not to taste good and that made me check their expiry date, only to find that they are 1 month expired. Because i had already pulled away from the garage , i decided to call the garage to inform them about this expired item. All i was told was \please bring the chips back with the receipt". That shocked me because i would first expect and apology because the damn chips may make me sick . Never shall i buy anything from that Petroport """
