I purchased an aluminium toolbox and exhaust protection plate online on 4 Mar 24 for my BMW R1250 GS Adventure. I paid extra for a 24-hour courier service.
After two days I enquired about the items via email to Raynard since the 24-hour courier period has passed. He responded by saying the items were out of production, which begs the question why was it advertised on their website? He confirmed that the items will be produced and that he will notify me as to when I can expect delivery. No feedback whatsoever from him.
I emailed a month later, asking feedback. No response to the mail. I phoned the company and Raynard would have called me back in 5 minutes. Never phoned. Received an email two days later from him, informing me that the items will be couriered to me the very next day. After 72 hours I mailed him again when no items were delivered. I was informed that the factory made a mistake in "bending" the items the wrong way. They would rectify the mistake as soon as possible. Needless to say, there were no urgency in the matter and I had to phone once more enquiring about the status of the items and its delivery.
I was sent a waybill on 22 Apr 24 by Nadine, informing me that the items will be collected by the courier on 23 Apr 24 and that it would be delivered to me 24 Apr 24 latest 16:00. Got an email from the courier on 23 Apr 24 - "failed collection" due to the items not being ready for pickup. Phoned Motorradical and spoke to Anelda. No joy. Raynard would phone me back with detail - as he was on his way home! Certainly did not take "ownership" of this order as another reviewer were so proud to point out.
