We now have had 2 bad experiences with Mototech, a person by the name of John who claims he has 41 years experience but when I asked how can he back this up with engineering degree he could not claim to it. His company put a engine in our car through 911 auto because the previous engine packed up after just we bought the car from weelee. Weelee sells broken cars and they use this Mototech as a warranty. We paid the warranty with our purchase from weelee for peace of mind. These companies must be imvestigated. After putting in the second engine we had a water leaked and it was a corroded pipe that came with the 2nd hand engine and they wanted us to pay half, we refused and they paid the claim, after us making noise,. We had this car for 2months of 2024 as it was at the mechanics for the rest of the year. There was a first claim of R35000 without us even knowing that it was claimed this was between February and April 2024. We got the car back and the engine seized the car was awyay for another 3months and the engine was replaced. We got the car back in November and we did less than 3000 km and in January 2025 the 2nd hand engine packed up, the car switched off and we got a flat bed to bring it home, we started the car the next day and it had a knocking noise and it switched off after few seconds. We called the mechanic immediately and the car went in 8th January. This John assessed the car and with his 41 years experience he says the car was driven with the knocking noise. Clearly he is not a professional mechanic because bmw goes into limp mode if anything is wrong on the engine, in this case the car switched off and didn't start again. He confirmed on the call that he assumed the car was driven like that which is not the case and he would have put this in his report to auto and General. This was just a tactic to jot pay the claim and he assumed. You can't base your decision on assumption, you need facts proof from a professional mechanic or engineer not what you think. Putting false info in a report is *******. He says about some clause, now the clause comes out about if you hear a noise you must switch off. Mr John there was no noise and the car switched off. It's time to retire if you judgment is wrong. This is a money making scheme and people need to be investigated. We will be putting them on all other platforms and news paper to investigate. They are the administrator of auto and general and this should also be investigated about not wanting to pay claims. Very unhappy client who take warranty but they don't want to pay. Warrant payments and approvals should not be in good faith. It's a product that you pay for for when you have mechanical breakdown You out the engine in our car with an underlying issue so you should fix it
