The worst customer service of my life. Ford removed a part from my vehicle and threw it away. When I returned, after discovering the missing part, Ashmole Alexander told me that they would order the part for me. I phoned Ashmole two weeks later and he tells me that Ford no longer make the part and “we” will have to look around for a second hand part. There is absolutely no sense of urgency to rectify their mistake. Now I have to continue to chase up with Ashmole and Ford Diep River.

ord Motus Diep River – Terrible Service & Zero Accountability I would definitely not recommend Ford Motus Diep River, not even to my worst enemy. Since January 2025, my vehicle has already been booked in three times to date for the same issue. An oil leak was first discovered while it was still under warranty. The repair was supposedly done, yet about a month later I noticed the oil leak was still there. I was told to bring the vehicle back, only to be quoted R14,000 because the car was now conveniently “out of warranty.” I paid the amount, and within just one week, another oil leak appeared. Despite repeated visits, the issue remains unresolved. To make matters worse, my vehicle has been with them since 21 July 2025 and is still there to date, with no communication whatsoever. This is absolutely unacceptable. I feel completely cheated, misled, and ****** of both my time and money. This is not the level of service or accountability one expects from a brand like Ford. Avoid Ford Motus Diep River at all costs if you value your money, time, and peace of mind.

From when we purchased our Ranger 6 years ago, we have received the friendliest and most efficient service that you can dream of. Clinical actually. Their communication skills are excellent.

I bought my Ford Ranger Wildtrak in 2023 and ever since experienced nothing but exceptional service from Motus Ford Diep River about one hundred and fifty kilometers away notwithstanding that I have the closet Ford dealership Weskus Ford about twenty kilometers away from where I live in langebaan. I had a warranty claim and they made the arrangements with Weskus Ford and my replacement repair was expertly completed. Normally the sales part of buying a new car is the best experience of care support and all assistance but thereafter they don’t know you. With Motus Ford Diep River this relationship carries through into expert after sales experiences because of a good staff support and leadership from the Dealer Principal Mr Tariq Jacobs. I will generally complain when I receive less than expected service but will equally admit fault and compliment where due. I recently arranged a first service with Motus Ford DR and requested a courtesy vehicle. I received email communication confirming the service date but not courtesy car. I immediately expressed my dissatisfaction to the dealer principal accusing staff of unprofessional conduct for not addressing this need which was not in keeping with all my previous and pleasant experiences with the dealership. I received an immediate response from The Dealer Principal confused by my unpleasant response whom had included copies of email communications to me in which he was more than willing to accommodate my request going beyond my suggestion of meeting his driver half way from Langebaan to Cape Town. To this effect he was more than willing to deliver the courtesy vehicle and collect my vehicle for service and return it with the least inconvenience to me the client. Needless to say and for some reason I did not receive these emails not even in my junk mail folder and merely assumed that a courtesy vehicle was out of the question hence my unreasonable response. The lesson learnt is don’t rely on emails only but give the dealership a call which could have prevented all this unpleasantness. Another fact from this experience is the character of the dealership which proved to be absolutely professional, supportive and client oriented. So that business cliche that “the customer is always right” is not always the case. In my case I the customer was wrong and unreservedly apologise to the Dealer Principal Mr Tariq Jacobs, Racine Davids the Service Manager and staff of Motus Ford Diep River and will in future do my best not to ruin our good relationship.

Motus Ford Diep River agreed to place a hold on a credit card pending the resolution of the insurance claim (not the party involved's fault) on a loan vehicle (excess of R10,000) on 27th June 2024. They deducted these funds the same day so this was not a hold. As at 22 July 2024, they refuse to answer the questions to establish the facts noting that have not had to make any payments to the repair shop. Amazed at how they have handled this matter

Had an extremely bad experience at this dealership with my service. My vehicle was given back with a cracked front windscreen. Even though the service manager knew about it my car was delivered without informing me. I had to discover the crack as i was leaving the dealership. Upon going back to find out more about how the crack happened, there was a total unwillingness take ownership for the crack and blame was just passed onto me. I found the response to my questions completely lacking, upon trying to find out why i was not informed about the crack upon taking delivery of the vehicle i was told by the service manager she had a very busy day.

I am from Pretoria the guys helped me so service my Ford Ranger and to replace a sensor that was giving problems in December while i was on holiday. Ordered the part, sorted the warranty claim and serviced the car without a booking.
