We bought a 2021 Mahindra XUV 500 from Motus in April 2025. It had low kilometers and were satisfied that this is what we want. After about 3 months and barely driving it, there was a sudden knocking noise in the suspension. Took it to Mahindra and found that the bushes and stabilisers needs replacing. Motus accepted it and came to pick it up. After 9 days i get a call from the workshop to explain that they are waiting on some parts, which were fine. But then he mentions that as soon as i get the car i must take it to Mahindra to get a huge oil leak sorted. There was never a problem with oil leaks as it was standing most of the time in the garage and there is no signs of any leaks. I have written an email requesting feedback today and will review this post when i get a satisfactory outcome to this issue.

THANKS:Callie Kock and Jame Voster and the rest of Kroonstad team for helping me with my ford Kuga after having the difficulties with my insurance to pay mechanical cost.I am proudly to say my car still in good condition after being in the store for 18month and Thanks for the support to make sure my car still run smoothly.now the car with me and no problem keep supporting others especially Kuga owner

I recently had an experience with Ford Kroonstad and it was a huge disappointment. I was excited to purchase a Ford bakkie from this dealership, but the entire process left me frustrated and uninterested. I committed to a deposit for a specific white V6 bakkie with the agreed-upon specifications. The promise was a delivery date of September 20th with a 9.75% interest rate. To my dismay, I didn't receive the bakkie on the promised date. The week before the 20th, the dealership attempted to persuade me to accept a silver bakkie, a clear departure from the white V6 I had ordered. In the week leading up to the promised delivery, they presented me with a white bakkie lacking the auto roller shutter I had requested, and they even suggested an after-market roller shutter as an alternative, which wasn't part of our original agreement. When this option didn't align with my preferences, they proposed an orange bakkie, which, once again, was not what I ordered. The level of incompetence I experienced was truly astounding. After enduring multiple excuses and delays, I decided to visit another Ford branch. It was at this point that I discovered my interest rate had increased to 11.75%, and this was a stark contrast to the initial agreement. This unexpected change in interest rate was a significant source of disappointment for me. Moreover, it's essential to note that the special offer had concluded by the end of September. Had I received my bakkie on the promised 20th, the deal could have been settled according to the terms of the first offer (featuring an interest rate of 9.75%). I'll be blunt: I will NEVER buy from Ford in my entire life, and I won't recommend anyone else to do so either. The lack of respect for their customers are issues too severe to ignore. I expected better from a reputed brand like Ford. My sales representative, @Sipho, failed to ensure a smooth and transparent transaction, which has left me with a negative impression of @FordKroonstad.

I bought a 2015 Ford Kuga 2.0 TDCI Powershift, Titanium from Mit Mak Motors in October 2021 and it is the car with the most problems I ever owe, specifically after driving Volkswagen my whole life. The worst is that even a Ford mechanic can't fix it, after replacing several electronic components I took it to Motus Ford Kroonstad to fix a starting problem, I had to use Quick Start to start it first time in the morning. After starting it wioth QAuick Start in the morning of 1 February 2023, I drove the car to Kroonstad myself without any problems or strange sounds and asked them to fix only the starting problem because everything else was fine. On the 18th May 2023 they issued an invoice for the amount of R37 153.67 for work they did, initially I refused to pay because they said the car can't go on the road because off wheel bearing problems and the compression is bad, but I then paid the amount to get the car back and I arranged for the car to be brought to Bethlehem with a truck just in case there was a problem. Yesterday I received the car in a terrible condition, oil leak, water leak, dirty inside and outside, engine sounds like a tractor and I can't go on the road because of a terrible noice. Just for a cherry on the cake, they told my wife I took the car to them on a truck and on the job card it say's "tow In - not starting" I took a video of the car while idling and sent it to them this morning without any reply up to now. Never in my life will I buy another Ford or recommend somebody to buy one.
