Terrible customer service, stay away. I have cancelled my service, and cancelled the debit order. Somehow they have circumvent the bank stop order and still deducts the month to month payment.
We bought a 2021 Mahindra XUV 500 from Motus in April 2025. It had low kilometers and were satisfied that this is what we want. After about 3 months and barely driving it, there was a sudden knocking noise in the suspension. Took it to Mahindra and found that the bushes and stabilisers needs replacing. Motus accepted it and came to pick it up. After 9 days i get a call from the workshop to explain that they are waiting on some parts, which were fine. But then he mentions that as soon as i get the car i must take it to Mahindra to get a huge oil leak sorted. There was never a problem with oil leaks as it was standing most of the time in the garage and there is no signs of any leaks. I have written an email requesting feedback today and will review this post when i get a satisfactory outcome to this issue.

Rain deducted a double payment from my account after changing some details on my profile. I have lodged a complaint on the 3rd of December, no reply. Today i send Rain a message on facebook and they responded, can you believe it? So no joy yet, cannot pickup the second deduction apparently, but first deduction....no problem, easy peasy. Now they want a bank statement for December....we are currently in December so not going to happen. The first company i have ever dealt with that wants a bank statement. Any who, cancelling the 4g.
I wish could give a zero star review, but alas i can't. So they have this special where you can get uncapped LTE and you get a router with a ups with it. Now i got this on the 11th of April. Until now no internet, zero customer service.... o wait I got 1 generic message on their app, which by the way is totally useless. Facebook communication is the "we are sorry to hear about bla bla bla" I have now resorted to send the equipment back, but i have yet to received the mythical unicorn of communication. Please stay away from them, they just ***** your hard earned money. Shout out to Communication Ombudsman, have a look here, thousands of people are complaining.
A month or so ago I got a contract with a laptop for my sons studies. Upon receiving this laptop I tried to get it to work but no avail. I returned the laptop within the 7 days return agreement and cancelled the contract. After a long struggle I received an sms that they have received the returned laptop. I have now logged numerous calls, in vain, to remove the contract from my name and as of now they are going to deduct R 11200 from my account for the cancellation of the contract. Now, I am not frustrated, I am super ****ed at the pathetic service from this company. I would like to urge you, who ever reads this, to seriously reconsider if you want to do business with Vodacom. It’s high time that the ombudsman and competition commission takes a long hard look at the dealings of this company. Sort out your ****!!!!!
<p>I am barely into a full month off a new contract with vodacom and then last night i suddenly recieved and sms saying that i subscribed to something called AirG!! What the hell is that? I never subscribed to something like that. The best of all is that there is no way to unsubscribe!!!! And this morning guess what? My money is missing.</p> <p>Vodacom sort out this nonsense ASAP!!! Not a good way to start with a new customer. Or do you want me to go back to your competitor??</p>
