I bought a second-hand car from Honda Motus East Rand and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.
When I collected the car, it was still registered in Gauteng (GP plates), even though I live in North West. I was told by the dealership to register the car myself in North West and that they would refund me. I went ahead and did that, but I have now been struggling for over 9 months to get my refund, with no clear answers or urgency from their side.
On top of this, I was also charged R5,000 for registration fees when purchasing the vehicle, which makes the situation even more unacceptable.
A dealership of this size should value their customers and resolve issues quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, I have experienced the opposite — constant delays, empty promises, and no proper communication.
I would advise anyone considering buying from this dealership to be very cautious and double-check everything in writing before making payment.
