No Booking confirmation

I made a booking to stay at Mount Paradiso. Due to some issues the booking slipped my mind. Had I received a call (as most guest houses do) to confirm check-in for the day I would have made it. I received no such call, trying to resolve the matter with a hostile and arrogant owner (Cathy) was not helpful either. I now have forfeit my voucher
