Carol Bruce and her team assisted my mother and I with emptying out the flat of my deceased aunt who died suddenly. My mother and I were wondering how we were going to get the flat ready by the end of the month so we contacted a few services to see who could best help us. Carol of Moving On stood head and shoulders above the rest. We received the best offer from them. They came in, assessed the place quickly, taking a few photos and got back to us swiftly. They arrived punctually on a Friday and cleared out most of the flat. They arranged to come back again on Monday to get the rest. Carol even offered us a bonus for the rest of the goods, which we weren't expecting. It's not every day that people offer you more and go above and beyond but that is the service we received from Carol and her team. By Monday afternoon, they had removed everything from the flat and we were able to give the flat back to the landlord sooner than we expected. The service we got from Carol and her team at Moving On was better than I have ever experienced from any local business. They blew us away with their helpfulness and speed of service. They really were totally on the ball. If you need to move and have things to get rid of, I recommend you give Carol at Moving on a call. You can find her on google and Facebook.

Absolute incompetence is the only way to describe the service that I got from this company. The link we were sent for our listing was to a website that had been closed and the only notification of the new site was in the banner at the top. They constantly got the items on our listing wrong and this required many corrections. They charge you to take inventory of your items and take photos but we still ended up wasting hours of our valuable time correcting their lists and sending photos that they had not taken. In addition their whole business offering centres around the use of Excel spreadsheets but they quite openly tell you that they don't know how to use this tool. I will never recommend them to anyone.

They charge you to take inventory of your items and take photos but we still ended up wasting hours of our valuable time correcting their lists and sending photos that they had not taken. In addition their whole business offering centres around the use of Excel spreadsheets but they quite openly tell you that they don't know how to use this tool. I will never recommend them to anyone.

People of South Africa, do not under any circumstances use this company when trying to sell your goods when you are leaving the country or moving, I have received nothing but bad service from them, they are actually a Joke. After 3 visits to view the items for sale,m one visit with buyer, they kept me on the line for weeks always promising for a date for collection and payment, asking me to hold all items - eventually after 6 weeks they kept promising a date to be set, in the mean time what must a person do, when you have limited time and need to sell your items. They have no network of backup buyers and apparently just use this one guy that came to view my items. I had to due to time constraint re advertise everything again and sell bits and pieces one by one in order to try and salvage something from the items - This would be my advice to you, DO NOT USE THEM - Sell your items yourself - advertise on face book etc, these guys are a fly by night operation, and for their sloppy service they expect 20% of the takings. I dealt with several people at MOVING ON and still no word from the, - even though my leaving date was expressed to them and stated that I was in an urgent rush.
