I've eaten here at Mr George a few times over the past year and the food is always good, solid enough for the price. That part is not the problem. The real issue is how the staff are treated in full view of the customers. My friend and I visited, I think on Tuesday lunch hoping for a relaxing lunch and got sitted on a upper section, but what we witnessed turned my stomach more than any bad meal could. As a customer sitting nearby, there is a round tabled booth where this guy was sitting, at first we thought he was also a guest, until we witnessed several waitrons queuing up before him. This wasn't just a stern talking to, it was outright verbal abuse, bulldozing, threatening and bullying experience, the most vile, unprofessional manner imaginable, those young waitrons went through. On a few occasions we could hear the F words through whatever discussion was going on. This experience left a bitter taste on us. This isn't management, it's bullying, plain and simple. It created a toxic atmosphere that ruined my afternoon. The staff was too intimidated to function properly, and the service while polite from the waitrons felt forced and fearful. How can you expect employees to perform at their peak when they're treated like garbage? It's no wonder why on my every visit I have seen new faces, from the floor managers to the staff as well. The staff looked so terrified, heads down, avoiding eye contact with him like he was a bomb about to go off. A nightmare of abuse and horror. Toxic management destroying this place. The waitrons were petrified. We gathered from the other waitress that the big guy is not even the owner. MR OWNER, YOUR MANAGER IS A WALKING HR LAWSUIT AND A CUSTOMER REPELLENT. IF YOU LET THAT BULLY KEEP TERRIFYING AND TERRORIZING YOUR TEAM, YOU DESERVE EVERY EMPTY TABLE AND BAD REVIEW COMING YOUR WAY. Fix it or watch your business die. Owners if you have any decency left, read these words and ACT. YOUR MANAGER IS POISONING YOUR BUSINESS FROM THE INSIDE. How can anyone enjoy their experience when the people serving you are clearly petrified and scared. MR OWNER THIS ISN'T LEADERSHIP OR MANAGEMENT, IT'S STRAIGHT UP WORKPLACE TERROR. Your manager is creating a hostile environment that's ******* and hostile and disgusting. He's costing you staff, customers and your reputation. Get rid of him before someone sues you or your place empties out completely. Allowing this monster infront of customers is indefensible. Your establishment deserves to fail if this continues, FAIL TO ACT AS THE OWNER YOU'RE JUST AS GUILTY as that toxic tyrant running the show.

👎🏾Worst environment to be in, though the food was amazing & service great. I was at Mr George on Friday for lunch with a business associate from Cape Town, but what we experienced left a bitter taste after our meals. We experienced 2 individuals ( lady & guy)who are the floor managers getting humiliated infront of all the patrons who were present that afternoon by the owner who is called Evan from what we gathered from our waitron. Both managers had been on our table prior to check on us and other patrons and can attest were kind and professional individuals. These 2 managers were made to stand like small kids in a naughty corner by the owner and got shouted at in full view. DON'T YOU HAVE AN OFFICE @ MR G...? l can assure you l won't be coming to that establishment ever again and will make sure everyone l do business gets to know what kind of an uncultured ***** Mr George owner is. Can't believe this kind of treatment still exist in this age and time, can't start to imagine what kind of treatment the staff in that establishment goes through, such a disgrace Mr George😡

I absolutely love sushi and always looking for the best spots and Mr George was one of them. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was absolutely great. Looking forward to to trying more items on their menu and bringing my family to experience it.
