After being a member for many years (20+) we continue experiencing unacceptable customer support. MDC have been boasting about their new fantastic website for many months, so I decided to login in and try (8 Sep 14:45). No joy!, could not change to new password. Phoned on 8 Sep @ 13:55 and spoke to Nicol (not too sure) He tried, and had the same problem. Don't worry I'll chat to IT and phone back shortly. So 24 hrs later, no call. Tried to login and changed password, and no problem. Thanks QVC/MDC for the no assistance or any follow-up communication.

I give them 1 star as 0 is not an option. If you are fortunate enough to read these reviews prior signing with these ******* then you are a better person than I am. From time to time maybe you will get accommodation at a resort available and usually it is the same old places available. That is not my biggest gripe with them. They misrepresent what you are signing up for and as a naive 20 something I signed and got myself financially stuck with them for many miserable years. All the years that you have to pay their so-called management fees is not worth whatever they are selling. Please do yourself a massive favor and stay very, very far away form these people. You WILL regret it, as I did.

I have been a member with QVC/MDC for many years and continually have challenges to book units in Mpumalanga. I stayed at Ngwenya 2018.11.12 unit 342. This unit was booked in 2017.12.05, over a year ago booking! The next booking was done 2020.07.23 for unit 309, staying 2021.02.19, 6 months to occupation. I visited Kirsten at Head Office 11 March 2021and had a long discussion about availability challenges. No more covid-19 challenges as we had cancelled 2 bookings due to C19. Kirsten mentioned she would try for Ngwenya (river front). To date no call. I phoned reservations 28 April 2021, had discussions for 24 min, nothing available for the balance of 2021. I also left a message for Kirsten to phone me, no return call to date, not reliable. On Monday 3 May 2021 received email big bonuses for May and June. I wondered what had changed so dramatically with regards to availability. I phoned at 01:21, waited in queued for 25 minutes, nothing available, completed call of 29 minutes. This is the worst ever, noting available on specials and nothing available for the balance of 2021. What a fantastic company, delivery just not possible. Please people, be aware, stay away from Quality Vacation Club and Multi Destination Club if you want to live a healthy life, else heart attack Company. They just cannot deliver.

Good Day Is holiday clubs above the law since they don't want to to cancell bookings after the President advised people not to travel and keep safe. I have contacted the Vacation Recreational Service's (VRS) to cancell my booking from.the 8 -15.January.2021 at.St.Micheals Sands Hotel, ref 25747 in KZN. I was.informed.to contact the VRS holiday club to cancell..Vrc refuse to cancell since they.have a six week cancelation policy The President of South Africa advice citizens not to travel to Hotspots and keep a safe distance to avoid contracting the Corna-19 virus. When I call Vacational Recreational Services (VRS They refuse to cancell my booking because cancelation must be 6 weeks prior.They claim the resorts are open but when I call St Michael Sands I was informed the Swimming Pool and games rooms are closed to guest. Only put put outside is available. Can anyone travel from Gauteng to KZN and not be allowed to go to the beach or use resort swimming pool that is close. What do you do on holiday. VRS still refuse to cancell bookings or postpone till later in the year. VRS bad customer service. I don't recommend them anyone to join. I am a member since 2011 and their service is pathetic. Are they above the law to ignore the President plea for people not to travel. Nb, too weeks back I was admitted in Montana Hospital for chest pains and sortness of breath. A angiogram was done that cleared me from heart deceased but was diagnosed with Ulser and Urniur that cause the chest pains and shortness of breath. I am still on antibiotics and still suffer from shortness of breath. I am also a diabetic patient and is a high risk to attract the decease and effect other guest. Can you help me to cancell this booking please in the sake of health. I had none one else to.write to since VRS refused to help. I believe with Government intervention they will take the matter more seriously

They claim the resorts are open but when I call St Michael Sands I was informed the Pool and games rooms are closed. Only put put outside. You can not go to the beach as it is close the resort pool is closed. What do you do on holiday. VRS still refuse to cancell bookings or postpone till later in the year. VRS bad customer service. As a member, once again received the worst service from Multi Destinations Club. They failed to inform me of a water shortage problem at the resort which I booked. I had to cancel my holiday and they just say sorry that they can't help me with alternative accommodation as I am the one cancelling on short notice. If they informed me 3 months ago (there is no water since the floods) I would have made alternative arrangements. Only when I phone to confirm my booking that I learnt of the water supply problem. Be warned - never ever use this company. I can assure that you will only have problems.

As a member, once again received the worst service from Multi Destinations Club. They failed to inform me of a water shortage problem at the resort which I booked. I have tried to stop my subscription now for a while now. I cannot afford it and it just gets more expensive. I feel every month I am throwing away +-R600.00.I was to sell it but no one want to buy it. In the meantime while I am waiting to hear from when it can be sold. I have to continue paying. I hardly use it. They have said do not worry if your points are going to be forfeited. it will not happen as you can bank the points. I have tried but when I do, I am told the points I want to bank is to little. So what it comes down too, I cannot use them and then all the money I have spent is for nothing as it is forfeited. I was told at the reservations that I could still book for the first 2 months of the new year but every time I try, not all the resorts availability was released yet. Now when I try again, the call centre is closed. So once again my payment was for nothing.
