The Retreat division of this car company did not follow correct procedure when it came to diagnosing my aircon issues with my car in November 2020. I was later told by a few people that they should first have done a dye/leak test to see if there were any issues there but all they did was re-gas my aircon and charged me R650 for this "privilege"!
The various other companies and mechanics I spoke to said this was exorbitant and I was left feeling rippped-off.
I will not endorse this company at all. Luckily I found a great company close to where I live that explained everything to me should I have issues in the future. While it was just a re-gas I needed and thus my issue was solved, Musical Cars should have followed the steps other mechanics and air con shops take.
I am disappointed and frustrated. Never again.
