Afrihost, Vumatel and Nanofibre
7th Dec morning – No wifi, logged a call – ISP 615134 8th Dec afternoon – tech came out from Vumatel – after numerous messages with Vumatel and Afrihost for an ETA and the 2 companies giving different info, the tech just pitched up at the house apparent break in the fibre, he will update the fault to be repaired. 9th Dec morning - started following up with Afrihost and Vumatel for a quote and ETR as I am completely reliant on wifi for work. I was given a managers name at Afrihost – Kgabo Chokoe, who assured me they are doing everything they can to help me. had to amend my email address as they had the wrong one for the quote (10am), by 6pm vumatel still did not have the correct address from Afrihost. Kgabo is now blatantly ignoring all my emails and has done since Thursday afternoon. @Afrihost, is this the type of management you employ and promote???
@Vumatel, the only way you can speak to them is via FB messenger and they respond to each message hours later
@ Nanofibre (the ONLY company Vumatel authorizes clients to use) I am still waiting for Karabo to call me back after getting cut off TWICE! 9th Dec - she called at 8:30am, the line was bad / the background where she was was too loud and we got cut off. She wanted to schedule for Monday, I told her that I never received a quote. That was all that was said before we got cut off. I never received a follow up call. 10th Dec - I finally received a quote and it was paid and POP was emailed to Gosi Smith by 8am 10th Dec - Karabo called to schedule now for Tuesday next week – clearly I was unhappy as this was now a day later and due to her only calling me back a day later.
I did try call back on the number she called – 010 140 0634 and no one answers and I cannot leave a message either. The number on the quote does not even ring and cuts off – 010 500 0874
I have sent numerous follow-up emails to Kgabo Chokoe (Afrihost), Gosi Smith, Marushka Van Aswegen and Karabo (Nanofibre) – all emails have been delivered. I have paid the quoted amount. NOT ONE PERSON HAS BOTHERED TO RESPOND TO ME!!!! All I want is my wifi / fibre back that I pay for every month and now for reinstallation. Never have I experienced such disgusting lack of service from a company!!!!
