I have e-mailed a complaint to NERSA on 20 January 2022. No reply or acknowledgement of my e-mail was received thus far. I complained about the extraordinary high electricity levy charged by Mogale City, namely R1467.63 p.m. - this before I even use one unit of electricity. The levy amounts to about 30% of my total consumption. My recommendation was that the levy should be capped at 10% of consumption.

I have been trying to reach NERSA for a week now. I have called 0124014600 and held on forever, but no answer. I then completed an enquiry on their website, but this has also failed to yield a response. Needless to say, I am very disheartened by this.
