On 27 February 2024 I paid R1029 to RTMC - ENATIS (by mistake) towards the renewal of a car license. Evidently there is a private company, also trading as e-Natis for who the payment was intended. Since then I have sent e-mails to the RTMC to three different addresses, asking for a refund. Needless to say, I did not even get a reply from the RTMC. My question is: are the staff members too *********** to handle refunds, or are they deliberately ignoring my request?
I have e-mailed a complaint to NERSA on 20 January 2022. No reply or acknowledgement of my e-mail was received thus far. I complained about the extraordinary high electricity levy charged by Mogale City, namely R1467.63 p.m. - this before I even use one unit of electricity. The levy amounts to about 30% of my total consumption. My recommendation was that the levy should be capped at 10% of consumption.
On 10 March 2022 I had the beef satay salad. The noodles were drowned in gravy and the mango was pulpy. Four hours later I came down with a severe diarrhoea and fever. It took me four days to recover. This begs the question of whether there is any quality control/inspections in M&B's kitchens?
The assessor sent out by KP superficially examined the faulty appliances by switching them on and off. He found that the fault was due to "normal wear and tear". Another service provider found that the fridge/deep freeze's compressor broke down. The micro wave oven's magnetron and inverter were damaged. Both were most probably due to a power surge. It took from 28 July to 13 August for KP to inform me that they could not, based on the assessor's report, make good the damage to the appliances. It seems that when it comes to pay outs, the King has abdicated. I have cancelled my policy. I may as well be without "assurance".
I had a live chat with Keneilwe Phaho. Keneilwe was most helpful and friendly. Good service!
