Thank you Lindo at Mugg and Bean Vryheid, for someone that is new you gave amazing service, was super friendly and helpful. All the staff at M&G are amazing but it was so nice to see such a warm face even though you are new. Well done guys.

On the 26 May 2026 at 18h25 ,me and my family walked into Mugg and Bean Kenilworth centre branch with no acknowledgement from the staff around .No Manager in sight Then my wife went to a staff member for assistance and was told they close. The board on the door states that they close at 19h30 Monday to Friday.

Mugg & Bean Umhlanga Sands Disappointing Food And Atmosphere. The cafe mocha had to be returned at yet another visit The Mexicana pizza had more chillies and pepper that mince. I have experienced a terrible attitude by their manager Amy who is serving at THE VERGE BRANCH at linksfield. She cant handle the complains. Complains are handled in terms of emotion and ego that in terms of policies. It looks like there are not even systems in place. I tried to elevate it through their Facebook page but three times after doing so the complain is removed from their page. Which is a sign that they are not in honest business. They take credit not critic. There is a lot suspicious legally there. Compliance with labour law does not seems to be on par. So you cant complain about their way of handling things.

What an absolute waste of time. Bayside mugg and Bean is a blemish on the brand. We went for breakfast. The restaurant had only.5 full tables. We waited 5 minutes for the menu, which should a been a sign. We ordered coffee and something to eat. 1 meal being a mere plain toasted sandwich. 45 minutes later we called our waitress after not seeing her the whole time or receiving any updates. Lucky for me I had the bottomless coffee so I could help myself. After waiting another ten minutes we decided to just go to the waitress station and cancel our order and pay for the coffee. We stood for another 10 minutes for her just to print the slip. She tried to call the manger but he actually just looked our way and walked into the kitchen. Which after seeing it I am kind if glad we didn't eat there. The floor was dirty so cant imagine the rest if the kitchen is clean. If you have a few hours to kill and not fussy about cleanliness then I guess this is the place to go.
