I had the Pleasure of being attended to by Mandela who was absolutely brilliant attentive kind and only concerned with making my Breakfast and experience the Best he could and he certainly achieved that.

Today I had a BEEF CHEESE BURGER at MUG&BEAN, presentation was good , but if you want a great burger experience , rather give MUG&BEAN a skip and go to SPUR or BOSSA or another BURGER Restaurant. I know there is many other better options but I am just talking about the BIG FRANCHISES NOW ..

I am exremely dissapointed in Mug and bean IRENE MALL. The service is terrible. I am coming for the second breakfast and just saw this slow unfriendly service which is one sided. Their white clients are treated with utmost welcoming with a smile. i arrived and waited 25min for a meal (big ben) and to be served burned food with no condiments the waiter just put the plate on the table. i sat and waited called another waiter to attend their burned food only to wait even minutes that manager went straight to the white couple which confirmed mine query was not prioritised. No communication amongst themselves as a team. I explained am not eating burned food and excused myself.

Please note that this complaint is for the new Westown store branch and not Watercrest . On the 1/3/2026 i was in your Westown branch having lunch and unfortunately, I have a few issues to bring to your attention. Upon ordering my meal i asked for a can of coke but as the waitress left me to place the order i changed my mind and asked her if i could change my order .She turned around and said no as the order had been sent off already .Not to rock the boat i said that was ok and i accepted the coke .When the coke came it was in an unopened can .I find it unacceptable that she could not change my order as the can was unopened .But i did not want to make it an issue . Secondly while i ate my meal the waitress did not once bother to come and check on how the meal was going .Total lack of interest .The manager could not be found anywhere . Thirdly i had to wait 20 minutes with finished plates on my table to be cleared . I could understand if the store was busy but there were only four other couples eating there at that time . I frequent your outlets often and the food is always great but when i experience service like this ,it seems as if your customers are not welcome .Being in the service industry i know what is acceptable service ,but the service i was shown was totally unacceptable .Needless to say i will never return to your Westown branch again

I took my daughter to Mug and Bean at Arbor Arch Mall. The set up is amazing, beautiful view , friendly servers. Food was good but a little average for the prices charged. Otherwise an absolute must.

Experience terrible service from Mugg and Bean Town Square in Hillcrest. Ordered a Monte Cristo salad.. This salad had alot of leaves with scanty ingredients.. The ingredients were not complete as listed,served with thinly sliced bagel one can see through!! My friend ordered Premy jellopeno burger.. The onions burned to no recognition.. The manager also no energy and totally not aware that anything was wrong with the Order!! Waiter was Bheki and the Manager Leslie. We called the waiter who was very lethargic in his approach...

I went to this Mugg and bean today 2026/02/18. Cashier SNdlovu48 please smile and be willing to assist customers. I came through to order no greeting from him, he took my order, did not ask if I was paying cash or card he assumed I’m using card. He then processed the sale and went away. Without even giving me the slip. My order was done, he just put my things there and did not even bother letting me know that I must take the lid for the latte and help myself with everything else (sugar, etc). He just put my things there and disappeared, I stood there until I turned and saw actually I must do it myself. Please **** a smile atleast and communicate better!!

I app**** for the 10 coffees/cappuccinos subscription. When ordering my cappuccino, the bill did not even have a barcode as described by their system to be able to get the free coffee. Few days later I tried again without success by scanning the barcode on their screen. Even giving them the voucher number does not work. They keep on deducting it from my linked credit card! The employees working at Mugg and Bean can not even help me and there is no help number. Useless.
