I am absolutely appalled by the "service"—or complete lack thereof—from the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) regarding our vehicle. Despite full payment and a clear vehicle record (verified via eNatis, AARTO, FineSA, and PayCity), the RTMC is withholding our licence disc without any lawful explanation. We have been met with nothing but unreasonable delays and a total "constructive refusal" to provide written reasons for this administrative block. After weeks of silence, we finally received a generic response from a Moalushi Mathabatha, listing "possible" reasons like infringements or roadworthy issues—completely ignoring the fact that we have already provided proof that none of these apply. To make matters worse, they now expect us to travel to their Centurion Gate office to collect a disc that should have been delivered, still without explaining what the supposed "infringement" is so we can resolve it. As a small business, this level of incompetence is crippling. We are being forced to choose between grounding a compliant vehicle or risking fines, all because the RTMC cannot perform a basic administrative task or answer a simple email. This matter has now been formally escalated to the Office of the Public Protector in terms of PAJA (Promotion of Administrative Justice Act). RTMC: Stop hiding behind generic emails and release our disc immediately.

For 3 years i have renewed my vehicle license disc online with no issue. 7 December 2025 i renewed my latest and 2 months later i am still waiting delivery whereas previously it took 3 - 5 working days. It took over a month for RTMC to get back to me and i get a default message every time saying: Good day, We sincerely apologize for the delay in the delivery of your vehicle license package, which has exceeded our standard delivery timeline of 3–5 working days. This delay was caused by unexpected system issues compounded by a temporary backlog in processing. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We would like to assure you that your request has been escalated to our Printing Unit for priority handling, and we are closely monitoring its progress to ensure completion as soon as possible. To avoid any further delays, we kindly ask you to confirm your preferred delivery address at your earliest convenience. Needless to say i have received this response 5 times now and each time i have re-supp**** my address. I did get one additional mail saying my query has been escalated which was over a month ago. The eNatis system itself says the license has been printed but nothing regarding delivery. Their service is shocking. No one seems interested at all in resolving the issue.

I paid my vehicle license disc on 28 November 2025 and, to date, I am still awaiting its delivery. I have not received any communication from the courier. After following up with the RTMC (eNaTIS), I was instructed to submit my receipt. I comp**** immediately; however, after waiting a week with no response, I resent the receipt again a week ago to a different email address I was given. Despite numerous attempts to contact RTMC telephonically yesterday, my calls were repeatedly disconnected. Additionally, my emails are no longer receiving any response. As a direct result of this delay and lack of communication, I have now received a fine and am unable to drive legally, despite having fulfilled my obligations as a responsible citizen by paying on time. In previous years, my license disc was delivered within three days. The same app**** to my father, who received his disc within a week in December. Given this precedent, I would like to understand the reason for the significant delay in my case. I have comp**** fully with all requirements, yet I am being penalised due to administrative inefficiencies and a lack of support. I am left unable to drive my car. This situation is both unacceptable and unreasonable, and I urgently request assistance in resolving this matter.

Five days ago I launched an enquiry with RTMC. Here are the contents as copies from the email. Which proves that "service delivery" is nothing but a stunt. I dont even expect to get a response: Dear RTMC Support Team, I hope you are well. I am writing to request guidance regarding a vehicle on my profile that is still reflecting an operating status. When attempting to renew the vehicle licence online, the system indicates that an operator’s licence and roadworthy certificate are required, and that only an MLVX certificate will be issued rather than a licence disc. I no longer use the vehicle for operating/public transport purposes and therefore no longer require an operator’s licence. I would like to update the vehicle’s status to private use so that I am able to renew the licence and obtain a normal licence disc. Could you please advise on the correct process to remove the operating status on NaTIS, as well as any forms or documents that I may need to submit? Additionally, please confirm whether this process must be completed at a specific licensing office or if it can be facilitated directly through RTMC. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance. Kind regards,

I renewed my vehicle license disks on the RTMC website on 3/11/2025. Today when I am writing this it is 12/11/2025. We are in week 2 and I still do not have my package delivered. The driver from Skynet in Witbank did phone me to arrange delivery on 4 occasions. On each of them, I ended up waiting for the delivery for hours and the driver simply not pitching up. Yesterday 11/11/25, the driver Mr Ntshebe (according to True caller) phoned me again and committed to be at my house at 11h00 with my delivery. It is now 13h15, and after an hour and a half on the phone with Skynet, I still do NOT have my delivery. Pathetic service to say the least

I have had the worst service experience with Road Traffic Management Corporation. I have been waiting on my licence since 22 October 2025. I renewed my husband's licence on the same day and he received his licence 5 days later. I have sent 3 emails and called twice and received no assistance. In the interim my young daughter is driving an unlicensed vehicle but at least they have my money while no service has been received. I will not recommend them to anyone

I am extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of accountability from RTMC. I made a payment for an enforcement order using the RTMC online platform, and the payment went through successfully, the amount was deducted from my account. However, the fine is still showing on their system as unpaid. I went to the RTMC offices to sort it out, and I was told that they had requested a payment report from their bank, but the bank could not provide it because the banking system was not functional and could not generate a report at that moment. I was asked to give them a few days, which I did. Later, they requested that I submit my bank statement as proof of payment, which I immediately did. Yet, even after following all their instructions, the issue remains unresolved. today when I do a follow they telling about NaTIS system that is offline. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. I paid through the correct platform, provided all requested documents, and have been patient, yet I am still stuck with an unresolved enforcement order due to their system failures. It’s unacceptable for customers to suffer because their non ****ianal system
