I paid my vehicle license disc on 28 November 2025 and, to date, I am still awaiting its delivery. I have not received any communication from the courier. After following up with the RTMC (eNaTIS), I was instructed to submit my receipt. I comp**** immediately; however, after waiting a week with no response, I resent the receipt again a week ago to a different email address I was given. Despite numerous attempts to contact RTMC telephonically yesterday, my calls were repeatedly disconnected. Additionally, my emails are no longer receiving any response. As a direct result of this delay and lack of communication, I have now received a fine and am unable to drive legally, despite having fulfilled my obligations as a responsible citizen by paying on time. In previous years, my license disc was delivered within three days. The same app**** to my father, who received his disc within a week in December. Given this precedent, I would like to understand the reason for the significant delay in my case. I have comp**** fully with all requirements, yet I am being penalised due to administrative inefficiencies and a lack of support. I am left unable to drive my car. This situation is both unacceptable and unreasonable, and I urgently request assistance in resolving this matter.
Apparently, a delivery was sent to my old address on the 14th of May. I never received a phone call or SMS informing me of the delivery. I did not know it was scheduled or that there was someone with a delivery for me - the security will have phoned the person who lives there now but it was not me. The driver claims to have left the parcel with security. I phoned them as soon as I learned of this and they don't have my parcel. I was in the process of moving and updated my address on the 18th of May via telephone to ensure that my details were correct and up to date as soon as possible. I normally get 3 months' prescription delivered at once. I have not received any feedback with regard to the gross negligence on the driver's part for leaving scheduled medicine with unauthorized persons. I have reported the incident with SAHPRA since I have been offered no help via telephone or email. I had not been notified or gave permission for the driver to leave my medication with the security. I'm at a loss to why the medication wasn't returned to the dispensary when I couldn't be reached. Needless to say, I don't have any missed calls from the 14th of May and I work from home so would have heard my cellphone ring. As mentioned previously, I received no communication about my prescription being out for delivery and I will dispute the claim with my medical aid as well because I have not, in fact, received my medication. If it weren't for my medical aid refusing to pay for my prescription unless I go through PD, I wouldn't have this problem in the first place.
