Horrible, most terrible experience I've ever had. I had a 6 months contract with this agency through an agent called Lauretta Slabbert(+27 82 859 2771). I moved out 2 weeks before my lease expired and inspection was done. Its been 3 months and I haven't received my deposit still, there is always this story or the other and dragging the process. When it comes to them demanding rent on time they don't accept stories, yet they make me wait this long for my money.

Good day ,we rent a property beginning of Noveber 2025 ,we couldn't get the place on my name due my credit results ,so we ask my son to help ,and so he did ,we paid the the 2 x key deposit and utilities as they ask and one months rent infront. So December we paid late by the 8 and not us the contract said ,in that time they put us on Nedc with letter and blacklist my son ,we did pay the fulle amount that was due with extra cost over 1134 ,so December I lost my job and couldn't pay the end of December 2025 ,So we informed the agent and told her exactly what's happening and made numerous suggestions to take one months Dep as there was over 360000 of the key deposit available, she rep**** they cannot use that.and we had to pay or moved, so we decided that we wil move end of January 2026 ,.The agent also comunicate with my girlfriend and said if we or them get any tendance in before we would not be liable for any breached the contract,so from the 12 January 2026 people came and view ,and signed to move in end of January 2026 .So the Nedc keep on sending us that they blacklisted every body on the contract ,even families members that is highly rated in the business sector,and to also closed family where the agent send them messages that they can't reached us .,(This is a serious matter because who gave them the right to do so ) IF I WASNT APROVE .So we moved out on the 31 January 2026 and the agent did her inspection that was on the Saturday. On Monday I ask the agent when is the dep going to be paid in so I can pay Nedc to clear my sons name and business. She rep**** that they busy working everything out ,so I left it .I also send mails that I want 3 months statements from November til end of January, she then send me a statement, just from 1 st Jan 2026 till end off Feb2026 ,I them rep**** ,about few queries on that ,why do we have to pay 3 time for utilities that was read on the 2st Jan the 14 th Jan and now again, if we paid beginning of December for usage in November, further there's a spotters fee over 9300 ,her respond is commission, but she stated that we won't be riable if new tenants signed ,Plus the nedc letter. Is pilling up and the amount is more than 1234 even the 2 Feb they send letters, Then she rep**** to me again that they going to use the dep all off sudden to pay everything.including Nedc that they did .According to her They then send again the same statement as before and saying we owe them 1344 for utilities. I task her please to be generous and help us ,I also called there HQ ,and send mails and no one responded back to me .As you know lost my job and for a person over 55 is hard to find and trying ,We did our side to raise 55 000 to pay in there acount ,and now they can't even help us or pay back us , Please if someone can assist me with this

They have a rental property in Coronationville ,11 Hamilton Street they renting ...however that house looks like a lolly house,people smoking druges,woman in and out , 2 boys living there seem they have a brottel they running,no wonder nobody is renting the place,drug house,woman in and out , school children smoking whatever they smiking ,windows broken,

I want to warn landlords and tenants against using National Letting. This is one of the worst companies you can ever deal with. Their agent in Cape Town, Alta van Heerden is one of the worst human beings you could want to come across. She is a bully and a *****. Don't bother to call their head office because they don't respond to calls or e-mails. They will rob you of your income and dishonour agreements. They owe me 3 months rent which I am determined to recover.

I moved out in January 2025, and to date, my deposit has still not been refunded. I reached out to my attorneys, and they have sent a demand letter. and I suspect that there will not be a response from them. I am going to take them the court. I urge anyone experiencing similar deposit issues to take comparable measures. If you do not have legal representation, think about presenting your case to the Rental Housing Tribunal.

I moved out in January 2025, and to date, my deposit has still not been refunded. I reached out to my attorneys, and they have sent a demand letter. and I suspect that there will not be a response from them. I am going to take them the court. I urge anyone experiencing similar deposit issues to take comparable measures. If you do not have legal representation, think about presenting your case to the Rental Housing Tribunal.

One useless property agents I will never ever recommend to anyone,these people do not care about their clients but only your money...they overpromise and under deliver...it's been now 83 days that my daughter moved out and we stay waiting for them to do so called inspection in order for us to get our refund..if u miss payment in a day they will harass you with long phone calls demanding the rent but now it's time for refund they give you run around....stay away from this company..they are ****mers

The most useless rental Agency i have ever seen. Unprofessional people working there..NEO their admin lady,Lauretta Slabber just to name a few that I have close encounter with: I paid R13000 when I moved in one of their apartments in Auckland Park Delheim Village!…R6.600 was for deposit R5600 was rent…it’s been 3 months since I moved out it’s been back and forth -E mail after another over my Money. Today they paid back R1300 for my deposit without a reason ..and mind you..they conduct annual inspections..and on both occasions nothing wrong was reported until I moved out!..their rent is unreasonable for a bachelor flat!…they billed me for electricity when I was actually on prepaid..IF YOU WANT PEACE AND Good Health AVOID NATIONAL LETTING AT ALL COSTS! No matter how desperate you may be ..don’t go for them!..

Never use National Letting Centurion as Estate Agents. Lesley never replies to emails or answers phone calls. We moved out on 15th February and to this day still waiting for the outgoing inspection document as well as a refund on our Deposit. The new tenant moved in 15th February and paid rental for half a month while we paid full month rental. Still waiting for the refund on that as well. Beyond frustrated.

Never use National Letting Centurion as Estate Agents. Lesley never replies to emails or answers phone calls. We moved out on 15th February and to this day still waiting for the outgoing inspection document as well as a refund on our Deposit. The new tenant moved in 15th February and paid rental for half a month while we paid full month rental. Still waiting for the refund on that as well. Beyond frustrated.
