I made a 09:00 booking which I honored by arriving at 08:55, the staff was standing outside the salon. 09:03, we were still outside the store, I approached the staff to ask what was happening, I was told they were waiting for the salon key and it would arrive in 30mins. 45mins later, we were still.outsode the store, I approached them again to ask what was happening, I was told the key was being ubered by the manager from Sandton. The staff was polite, what is disgusting is the lack of communication from the manager/store to clients who have booked for a certain time for a reason. You clearly know you have taken the key home with you, be descent enough to make it to work on time and notify clients if that won't happen. This has brought disrepute to the brand and left a bad taste in my mouth

Before I wrote this comment, I noticed that I'm not the only one with this problem and I'm appalled that this has not been addressed by this Company. Clearly there is something wrong with the formula which is why people are getting bad skin reactions.

"My family and I have loved Native Child products for years, but the latest batch we bought has been a complete disappointment. It has left our hair incredibly dry, brittle, and prone to breakage. I've even switched from the adult line to the kids' products, hoping they would be gentler and help my hair recover. I thought I might have been doing something wrong, but instead, I've lost a lot of my hair, and my mom has also experienced significant hair loss, especially around her hairline, after applying the oil. The Hair Repair Serum, which we hoped would help, hasn’t improved the situation and may have made things worse. It's so disheartening to see this kind of decline from a brand we trusted. We hope Native Child takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issue, as we would love to continue supporting them."

I was at Clicks and they didn’t have stock of the product I usually use (Kuza leave in conditioner). So I was in a rush and I had to take something because I was completely out of product at home. I saw Native Child leave in, and I thought it’s a SA brand, I’m sure it’s good. I have 3C type hair, and i love my curls soft, bouncy and moisturised. Native child did the complete opposite. My curls were do stiff that I could feel the crunch days later after applying the product. I was so disappointed… I now use the product as gel, it keeps my hair so stiff and neat when I want to make styles, but I wouldn’t recommend for a leave in.

I booked appointments for 2 people on Fresha Native Child Cresta. When I had to pay I was given a different total amount from the one on Fresha. I informed the lady the total amount is more that the one online. She had to get someone to authorize on their system the difference. She called 2 authorizers and both refused to authorize it. I then asked to speak to one of the authorizers by the name Kay. I informed her it's ********* to ask more that what is on booking website. Screenshots were sent to her to show the amounts online, she still refused to authorize it. Kay said Fresha is not updated and when I asked her why is that my problem, she basically told me it's my problem. I then realized that I wasted 30 minutes of my time and talking to a person who knows absolutely nothing about running a proper business. I then told her I will pay the amounts which are still reflecting on their online booking and will never go back. Kay told me it's my right not to come back (wow). She has no respect for clients and our time and forgetting that salon existence depends on clients. I don't ever go to ***** businesses and it's surprising to find such in a Mall. I've been to that salon a few times and it's been going down fast. I'll never go back. I feel sorry for their employees who have to be in the middle of this mess caused by their *********** leaders.
