Bought a Garmin 1030 from Garmin at 94.7 . Battery seems to have a problem . Took to Navworld in Lynwood . Assistant not at helpful . Navworld ( Garmin agent ) does not accept any Garmin products & refers me to Garmin SA . When I showed them receipts & says not interested at all . Owner / Managers confirms what clerk says / asked if they could phone Garmin ( as they say item could be ****** / not on Garmin system ( I have proof of receipt ) & not interested. As I was walking out ( they were not interested in me at all ) they said they have a form I can fill in ( ? ) & which I can send to Garmin . So effectively if you have a Garmin product they cannot support / help you & that is their policy .
