My partner's contract ended recently, and he gave proper notice. The contract clearly states that the deposit should be returned within 21 days. However, it's now been a month, and he still hasn't received it. This delay is a significant inconvenience

NewGroundLiving - DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT HERE
I signed a lease for my son to live in NewGroundsLiving apartment. He stayed there for almost 2 years; when it was time to hand in his notice I was completely ignored. It took several attempts at emails / calls / Whatsapp messages for them to even acknowledge me. And now that it's time for his deposit to be refunded they are ghosting me again. Several emails ignored, whatsapp left on grey ticks, landline just rings. Apart from my frustration, I am pretty sure it is ******* to run an operation with no management. What would happen in an emergency?
