The stars are for great products and discounts on stock prices. Ive been to 2 of your stores(montana and centurion) and ive noticed they operate the same. Expect poor customer service-arrogant staff and a messy floor always!

I placed an order and paid immediately via EFT, this was month end November 2024. Shop is at Montana. I went to the store and I was told I didn't. I showed them proof of payment and bank details they gave me, which they approved to be correct. To this day, they ignore me, bluetick my WhatsApp, do not pick my calls, none responsive on the email. The level of disrespect to Black people from this shop is appalling service white market only with their preferential service. You even compromised your integrity by this non-compliant sale because you give biased service to who you like anf fair only. I bought 70 sets of led string lights for my wedding at the Menlyn branch - 20 sets are not working. The staff refused to assist me to exchange it for working ones and actually laughed at me - they also refused to give me the owner's telephone number and only gave me an email address. Needless to say you do not get any reply. Beware - this company sells defective items.

Wanted to exchange a faulty set of headphones purchased from Zambezi Junction branch on 22 December which was a Christmas gift (very embarrassing to say the least to give something that doesn’t work). We were away in the Cape area on holiday from 23 December, and we were not here in 7 days. We were not aware of the return policy. The manager was very obtuse and unhelpful. Very poor service.

I went to the Bouganville Branch on Friday 18th June 2021. I wanted to purchase some goods to the total value of R 187.00. I produce an R200 note in order to pay the invoice amount. The woman behind the till/counter informed me that this Company does not take R200 notes for payments. I WAS VERY EMBARRASSED, tolding the lady that I've just withdraw the cash from the ATM outside. She persisted that she is not allowed to take the money. I can pay with other money (R100, R50, etc. ) BUT NOT WITH AN R220 NOTE. I ask the women if she thinks that the R200 note is falsely, on which she answerd me "I don't care, we do not take R200 notes from customers" I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT THIS BRANCH - I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY OF THIS COMPANY'S BRANCHES. If the company does not give me an official appologies (NOT FROM THE WORKER - BUT FROM THE CEO) - replying from this writing, I will take this matter futher !! Kind Regards Jan

We went to the Glenfair branch in December. Our card went through twice. They said it will reverse the first payment. The payment was not reversed and the bank could not do anything as it was on Newland's side. 5 months later we are still waiting and fighting for a refund. According to them it is not on their statements. The staff is very unhelpful and quite rude. Whatsapps are just being read and ignored even though the manager swears this is not the case. The owner is non-existant. Extremely bad customer service. Will not stop fighting for our money.

I have been treated so poorly by the lady behind the till after returning an item. The item was found broken after the plastic outer layer was removed by me at my house. The lady accused me of breaking the item myself, stating that I removed the plastic to vigorously and so braking an almost 2cm thick wooden frame. I will not be going back here and I was a good supporter of their shop because it's situated next door to my office.
