<div>I applied for a consolidation loan that was approved by NISI Global Financial services CC. After approval, they said that I must pay a initiation fee and this was the message: Please see the banking information below for the once-off loan approved amount and the R6, 980.99 disbursement fee. Once your payment is complete, please submit proof of payment for a rapid disbursement procedure. Once your payment is verified, it will take a few minutes to finalize your disbursement. We thank you for choosing our services, and we look forward to assisting you with your loan-approved amount disbursement. To ensure your loan disbursement process is as smooth as possible, please provide us with proof of payment at the earliest opportunity so that we can process your v quickly and efficiently. After verifying your payment, we will disburse your loan-approved amount as quickly as possible. Then, after I paid, come another e-mail and phone call instructing me to pay an insurance cover of more than R16,000 - that is impossible. After all, why does one apply for a loan? I requested them to cancel the loan and refund me the initiation fee. After several e-mails and messages to them they send me the following: Hello Marie, Your refund request is being processed, and it will be finished in a day or two. Please remember that in order to process and execute refund claims, there is an upfront service fee of 40%. We would like to let you know that it will take a few minutes for the entire refund amount to be released into your bank account after the 40% service charge has been fully paid. Please take note that we will only issue a refund to the bank account you used to make the original payment; we are unable to process payments from any other bank account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is necessary for security and verification purposes. Additionally, please ensure that you provide accurate and up-to-date bank account information to avoid any delays in receiving your refund. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If this is not unfair practice then I don't know. I get no feedback or answers from this company. I feel that I do not have a option than to lodge a complaint with the NCR where they are registered.</div>
