I purchased parts from the Parts Department and was assured at the time of ordering that the items were available at the Silverton factory. I was told it would take no more than 5 working days. After numerous calls and follow-ups, 4 weeks later I contacted the Parts Manager to ask why it was taking so long. Without hesitation, the delay was blamed on imports taking longer than expected. I was then assured that he would call me back once he had spoken to the sales representative. Two weeks later, I was still waiting for his call. Once again, I had to phone to find out what was happening. As usual, no one in the Parts Department was available, and the receptionist promised someone would return my call — which never happened. Only later that afternoon did I receive a WhatsApp message informing me that the parts were finally ready for collection. This level of service is unacceptable. I would like to know what steps your department will take to address this lack of communication and ensure that customers do not have to go through the same experience in the future.

Truly frustrating experience!! 😡😡 I took my brand new vehicle to NMI Ford N1 City to look at a rattle in the cabin. It has been two weeks now and I still do not have my vehicle back. There has been a back and forth with Ford NMI N1 City and Ford Head Office where they are working with a technician to resolve the issue. Then the headliner is removed and then the headliner is being out back, they have even sent a “special tool” to fix the problem, but I still don’t have a vehicle. The issue is not that it is taking so long, by all means take as long as you need to get this issue fixed, but the fact that I am sitting without a vehicle and I need my vehicle for work is the issue. NMI ford has advised that they can offer me a courtesy vehicle, but for some bizarre reason I have to take out the insurance on the vehicle? Not sure how they want me to achieve this seeing as how no insurance company is going to give me cover for a couple of days and take on the risk of having a R500 0000+ loss should something happen. I mean, what kind of a premium do they then have to charge for this cover? The matter has been escalated to Ford Client care and they have been absolute no help at all. Also just “yes, we are trying to fix it” but the same response with regards to providing me with a courtesy vehicle. I just spoke to the service manager at NMI Ford and just gives me the same excuse. Is this the type of service one can expect when purchasing a brand new vehicle at Ford??

Craig (the DP) assisted me personally and took matters over and helped me regarding concerns with my next gen ranger. I hope he can get them resolved asap 💪 2023 Ford Ranger XLT Bi-Turbo 4x4 10sp auto - extremely poor headlight projection (from factory), noisy mirror motors (recall), paint defects (from factory), noisy brake booster (when warm), noisy rear suspension (when going off a bumb). Thanks Craig 💪

NMI Ford N1 city has sold me a defective vehicle and they knew about the problems with this vehicle even before l bought it as a demo model with 15000km done. My Ford Ranger XLT Dblcab just came back after 2 MONTHS from it's 10th repair already and still the vehicle remains faulty. The vehicle has only done 61000km. Their workshop is unacceptable *********** and keeps replacing parts with defective parts. I did lodge a complaint with the Motor Industry Ombudsman but that will take forever to adress my concerns with Ford N1 city selling defective problematic vehicles to clients and not informing clients of the repair history of that vehicle. Stay away from Ford N1 City for any vehicle sales. They have total non respect for your complaints.

I continually receive outstanding service from NMI Ford N1 City. Whether its from my servicing agent Abby (Abongile Ngcikiza) who is always helpful and pleasant and goes above and beyond her role. Thank you Abby To my recent vehicle purchase which was handled by Galeed Fenton. Galeed delivered excellent customer service during a very frustrating time. He was beyond helpful and accommodating. He kept me informed along the way which I appreciated immensely. Galeed made everything easy which I really appreciate. Thank you Galeed for outstanding customer service. To Maryke Knoetze (Finance Manager) you were so helpful and accommodating and did it all with a huge smile. Thank you for the excellent service given. NMI Ford N1 City you have AMAZING staff!!
