Terrible Refund Policy!
Hi Everyone I had an unpleasant experience at Noise Boys Hatfield. The service was friendly but my experience not. I brought my vehicle in to remove my catalytic converter. Later they told me it was already removed and advised on a mini-cat. This cost me R1200. This mini-cat caused all sorts of issues on my Audi and eventually my mechanic advised that I remove it. I had to tow my car back to Noise Boys and get it removed. Noise Boys would not give me a refund or any compensation for my troubles...Just told me the min-cat was used and I couldn't get a refund. I found this was grossly wrong...and all the inconvenience I was put through. So, despite the friendly service I had a very bad experience...

A month ago I visited the branch in town Potgiter Street to get my exhaust manifold and gasket done I was told it will cost R1750 but they have to order the part for me in which I said no problem and waited until the 7th when I got a call saying the part has arrived and I can bring the car in.....I got there left my car with them half a day they took and called me saying it is ready for collection and no where did the manager inform me that there is no warranty on it, like really is this how you keep your customers happy with such a bad service...I can give you a nice name noise boy ****s Don't bother calling me to resolve this problem

Despicable Service
I visited Noise Boys in Pretoria North today, 10 November 2025. I was given a quote by the "manager" at first, he having looked at all my existing exhaust parts, sizes and dimensions displayed on my Opel Corsa bakkie. After we mutually agreed to have the exact same parts fitted at a set price of R2800.00, I ordered them to proceed with installation as agreed. After installation started, I noticed an inferior, smaller first part was installed after the exhaust outlet. I went to this gentleman and politely asked why was the part 100mm long instead of the length he quoted me on, which were like 200+mm long! He got extremely agitated and claim they all work the same! I demanded a longer part be fitted to match my 250mm long original, which he quoted me on earlier. That got him even more angry and he eventually expedited my request, obviously extremely angered by my "cros****amination"!!! If only he would have told me they had not the same size parts in stock, it would have let to alternative choices from my side. Then they eventually proceed to fit the bigger flexible Stainless Steel part, only to notice later on, during their installation, that they have installed the final, last 300mm last silencer box, instead of the 500mm box I displayed during my initial quote! When I again approach the manager to enquire about this inferior fitment, he got totally out of control telling me, the customer who has all the right to ask questions, and I quote: "Nou soek jy met die verkeerde man ***" pushing his finger against my nose!!! I immediately left and went to the Pretoria North Police Station to report this violent aggressive incident against a client. I wish to warn elderly people, and the general public against Noise Boys Pretoria North!!! I was eventually "forced to be" helped by another branch and had to bear unnecessary inconvenience and extreme discomfort!! I am extremely traumatized by this incident because I am a pensioner turning 61 years of age soon, yet were treated very badly by someone who are suppose to serve the general public politely and with respect!! I was also not addressed as sir, but merely as "jy en jou" by a person half my age!! This incident left me speechless!! It was such a despicable act against a customer, let alone an elderly person!!! My advice is: TRY TO AVOID SUCH SERVICE!

Noise Bois Pretoria North
I went there to install a new branch and freeflow,we discussed the branch should be 4:2:1 instead they made it 4:1 the car doesn't have any torque whatsoever i agreed on the proce for the branch wich was a bit expensive,guy told me it's because flanches for the car is expensive but he used the cars stock flanches,i asked him nicely to change the branch to be as we discussed he said he needs to get collectors first and he will let me know when he has it, it's been two weeks waiting for him and he still didn't let me know anything,wich im not happy about cause i didn't wait to weeks to pay him

Bunch of sharks steeling money
What a bunch of clowns. Give a person a price for a new pice of exhausted and then later turn around and say o no it was just to fix it. I will never use you again and i will never refer anyone there. Stay away from the one in rietfontein road boksburg they are a bunch of sharks

Poor service
On the 21st of October 2024 I experienced jerking and a lose of power on a Ford Fiesta 2005 1,4. I took the vehicle to Noise Boys in Pretoria North and was informed that it could possibly be the catelitic converter starting to block and paid R650 to get it removed. After removal of the catelitic converter the problem persisted and I took it to a mechanic and he eventually found a cracked spark plug as part of the problem. During the diagnostic test a fault code , stating a defective lamda sensor. On inspection the lamda sensor was found damaged during the removing proses of the cat. I was also not informed that a mini cat needed fitment to bypass the computer reading the missing catelitic converter. The total repair after the catelitic converter removal came to R3800.00. On return the worker ( young still wet behind the ears) was extremely arrogant and I decided to get another supplier , Die Graaf in Pretoria North to rectify the poor welding workmanship. I was informed that noise boys was in proses of a company sale. I told them that who ever buy is buying a sinking ship.

VERY UNSETISFIED
Noise Boys replaced our vehicles exhaust a few months ago. After, there were a hard knocking noice when we drove over bumps. We went back several times and they denied that it's the exhaust. We got the shocks and shock rubbers taken off and checked. There were nothing wrong with them. Was told it's the exhaust knocking because there were not enough hooks and rubbers fitted. It's really a big frustrating problem. Guarantee expired now and I doubt if they would have fixed it if I went back. I don't have any trust in their work now and will definitely not recommend them. See there is a similar review on Google maps about Noise boys Centurion
