Classic Mussels dish very disappointing

I really looked forward to enjoying my dish of moule mariniere . the place was fairly busy but I had made a reservation. The french bread was wholewheat thick cut which defeated the object of enjoying the sauce. There was minimal garlic in the sauce which was really under whelmimg. White wine was either lacking completely or too little was used. Upon raising the issue with a manager, it was kind of laughed off. Their standard has dropped since my last visit.
