Don’t buy a car from from Northcliff Exclusive Cars
Don’t ever buy a car from Northcliff Exclusive cars!! The manager is exceptionally rude and does not listen to his customers - instead he calls them a liar when they tell him what has transpired and why you are unhappy with their service. I bought my car from them in June of this year. Within 3 weeks I asked them to take the car back and give me my trade in as I was so unhappy with the service and communication but I was just told NO. The manager is incredibly rude and arrogant and not a manager in any way whatsoever. He says that if he was not present then it didn’t happen. I was promised touch up paint upon collecting the vehicle in June. It is September and I have still not received anything. My car was due for a service a month after collecting the car from exclusive cars. Brake pads need replacing already - 3 months in. DON’T BUY FROM EXCLUSIVE CARS! Instead of helping customers, they argue with them and call them liars.

26 Sept 2022, 15:33Please note that when you do have an issue, the manager will call your husband to discuss an issue he has with me as if I am not an adult and cannot sort things out myself - even though the car isn’t in my husband’s name.

29 Sept 2022, 05:41We have investigated Mrs Van Ransburg's claim on our cctv footage as well as with other staff members as witness and found no wrong doing with our manager and it is the client and her mum that had stormed into his office whilst he was having a meeting with one of the other staff members and both of them were abusive and threatening the manager as he tried explaining the process of her issues, and we as a company will not tolerate such abusive behaviour with threats and incorrect information provided on the hello Peter platform and we are therefore considering legal advice as we have informed her husband.
Even after what had occurred we contacted her and tried resolving her issues but unfortunately we could not assist her as she and her mum were unreasonable, so we then contacted her husband to give him the options of assistance as customer service and also to try and resolve the matter.
Unfortunately Mrs Van Rensburg had buyer’s remorse after 6 weeks of her purchase, her husband contacted us on her behalf to trade-in the vehicle and as explained to him that there would be a loss in value and we advised him against it as it would not be viable for them at that present moment and to which he agreed.
Before delivery we had the vehicle sent to a Bmw agent for the service and the pre delivery warranty inspection with a safe drive roadworthy report and there were no issues on the car and all reports and invoice copies were given to her. There was also a Dekra check done on the vehicle prior which also showed no issues on the vehicle. Regarding her brakes unfortunately it’s a wear and tear item and it depends on a person’s driving habits and it could need replacement before it’s due time, however at the time of delivery as indicated from all the reports that it was in acceptable condition with no issues and within the roadworthy limits.
We had offered to arrange touch up paint in a bottle for her as she asked for assistance and we arranged with a panel shop convenient to her and ordered it but unfortunately as she is aware that the panel shop had closed down and we had to re arrange with a new panel shop. We do apologise for the delay and that will be resolved with immediate urgency.

It has taken since June to get touch up paint - the panel beats may have closed down but this was never communicated to us.
The place refuses to accept any blame and instead calls us “abusive”.
There are countless complaints on HelloPeter for poor after sale service so people can make up their own mind on here.
As for phoning me to sort things out - rubbish. You called me to threaten me with cctv footage and continue the blame game. You have threatened with legal action if I did not remove the HelloPeter post Although this is what this platform is for and I will do no such thing.
