NRB Risk Solutions need to get their act together
I am paying off an account through NRB Risk Solutions. I keep on receiving e-mails from Mr Nkosekhaya April from that company. These e-mails specify that: "Numerous efforts have been made and NRB has accommodated you as far as possible, however no payment efforts have been forthcoming from your side". It continues by threatening me that: "If no payment is received within the next 48 hours, then NRB will have no choice other than to escalate your account to the next level in the collections process, and your credit RECORD will be negatively affected". I have thus sent a response to Mr April on 25 September 2025, requesting him to be more specific regarding the so-called efforts that NRB has made. I continued to indicate that I resent his statement that no payment efforts have been forthcoming from my side, especially as I have paid every month from April until August. I acknowledged that I did not pay for September, but I did have a problem for that month. I continued by making a new payment arrangement, which I would have honoured from October. I did not receive so much as an acknowledgement of receipt from Mr April. Instead, he keeps on sending me the exact same e-mail. Stating how NRB has made so many efforts and how I am not making any efforts to pay. I have received two such e-mails from him today, in spite of my e-mail of 25 September. I therefore decided to phone Mr April. Upon speaking to him over the phone, he indicated that the e-mail does not say what I am quoting. Instead, it requests me to pay and to ignore the e-mail if I have paid. He also indicated that it is the system that sent the messages, not him. I even had to read the e-mail to him, after which he still insisted that he is correct, not me. After I indicated to him that I can read and that I am not lying, as, at this point, I started to suspect that he is thinking that , he asked whether I wanted to speak to his manager. I accepted this suggestion, only to be told that I cannot speak to the manager as she is on the phone. After holding on for a while, I indicated that I want an e-mail from his manager this afternoon still, or I am going to write a review on Hellopeter. He told me to go ahead and write the review. NRB Risk Solutions is a *****, My vehicle was written off by my insurance and Nedbank cancelled the shortfall to bad debt written off. NRB Risk Solutions contacted me and told me my account was handed over to them and I needed to arrange payment. I then decided to go under debt review and my "Debt" with Nedbank for this value was not registered under my name. The High Court did not approve them to be paid so I stopped. They have continued to harass me for over 5 years, sending threats about non payment.

Pathetic customer service
These people especially this lady Joan has very very very pathetic customer service. She doesn't know how to deal with people and is very arrogant. Her attitude stinks. She shouldn't even be in debt collections as she no way of speaking to people. One has to consider a person's current situation and offer assistance, not dictate and offer threats instead. Shame on her and the company she represents. I would have gladly spoken to her and made pmnt arrangements had she been human, now I will pay on my terms and it's due to her stinking attitude.

Pathetic customer service

PRESCRIBED DEBT 15 YEARS OLD
They are trying me to pay for a loan that was taken out 15years ago. they think we all stupid.. I have now lodged a complaint with the Debt cOLLECTORS COUNCIL. I have warned them on numerous occasions not to contact me for prescribed debt of 15 years old.. They want me to forward prescription proof.. DUMB ASSES, PRESCRIPTION IS AUTOMATIC.. ive requested numerous times to 4 different agents, proof of the account they collecting on, which should show the date the account was opened.. Guess What!!! Then they stop, 2 days later, they let a totally new agent, try their luck with me again, my story doesn't change, my tactic doesnt change.. will see you in court for the harassment charges

Constant Demands
My wife passed away in November of 2023. She had a loan account which is now outstanding. All information on the progress of the estate is communicated to NRB Risk Solutions weekly, but they continue to demand payment constantly. It seems they do not or don't want to understand the legal prosses involved when someone passes away.

Do not trust them
Do not trust them they will take your money but not settle your accounts. I made the mistake of not researching them before setting up a debit with them. The balance on the account in question has not been changed. They also refuse to help. Everytime I phone them they say they going to get back to me,to date they have not.

Popi Act Violators
Some how they have obtained my personal info from many moons ago an are acting on behalf of Wesbank who *******ly repossessed my chev utility bakkie when it was up to date their own collection company took the vehicle and stole it out of the SAPS yard and provided false information when I was supposed to collect the vehicle till this day the vehicles is still missing now I am being threatened with calls from many different individuals So its a rackett going on I would like Hello Peter to intervene an maybe get authorities to go after the individuals who are passing on my information over to other scaley individuals I have received an email which has false information even threats of going to court which I find laughable and told that the popi act is just a piece of paper over the phone and no one has ever been held for breaking the popi act I have the information of a individual by the alias of Beate Sampson so called Shortfalls manager what is strange their emails all go to spam
