Swak kommunikasie en onbuigsame kansellasiebeleid – wees bewus Ek plaas hierdie review om ander gaste bewus te maak van my ervaring met Ocean Breeze Hotel in Strand. Ek het vroegtydig ’n bespreking gemaak, maar moes dit kanselleer nadat die rede vir my besoek verander het. Wat my die meeste teleurgestel het, is dat die hotel slegs ’n streng “30-day full money back” kansellasiebeleid toepas. Buiten dit, verloor jy 50% van jou geld of jy kry ’n voucher wat binne drie maande gebruik moet word – wat nie vir almal prakties is nie, veral as jy nie gereeld in Strand kom nie. Wat egter die grootste probleem was, is die swak kommunikasie. Daar was ’n ooreenkoms dat indien my kamer weer bespreek word vir dieselfde datum, ek ’n volle terugbetaling sou ontvang. Ek is egter nooit proaktief ingelig oor wat gebeur het nie. Eers op die oggend van inboek het ek uitgevind die hotel is vol bespreek. Teen daardie tyd was ons reeds op pad Strand toe. Met geen duidelike kommunikasie of bevestiging nie, is ons in ’n baie ongemaklike situasie geplaas waar ons op kort kennisgewing alternatiewe verblyf moes probeer kry. Dit het onnodige stres, tydverlies en ekstra kostes veroorsaak. Wanneer ek versoek het om met ’n bestuurder te praat, is daar telkens gesê hy is nie beskikbaar nie, sonder enige verdere verduideliking of opvolg. Dit het my laat voel asof daar geen werklike poging van bestuur se kant af is om die saak reg te stel nie. My ervaring was dat die booking- en reservation kommunikasie beslis nie op standaard is nie. Ek deel dit sodat ander gaste bewus kan wees van die streng beleid en die moontlike gebrek aan duidelike, tydige kommunikasie.

This please is absolutely horrible. It smells of cigarettes and dampness through the entire building. The staff are never at the reception to help. The owner of the business is rude. I had a miserable experience at this place. No self loving person should ever visit this place.

The breathtaking vista of the ocean was truly captivating! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent at the establishment. The accommodations were impeccably maintained, showcasing a remarkable level of cleanliness. Additionally, the presence of a charming bar downstairs provided a serene ambiance for relaxation or dining.

My wife and I booked in at Ocean Breeze Hotel from 9-11 February 2024. Positive side--everyone very friendly, safe parking under hotel. Negatives: 1. Website says TV, but once there we learned ONLY Netflix and nothing else. 2.The double bed lacked support as it was too soft and sinked in too much. 3. The only mirror was in the bathroom. The hair dryer was about 4 metres from there, hence my wife could not use it at all. After waiting for about an hour, the staff eventually found and brought a mirror from somewhere. 4 Only TWO hangers in room. 4.

The service was appalling from the onset. The hostess Janet was uncourteous and aggressive towards us and made us feel unwelcomed.She was visibly annoyed when wr informed her that the bread would not be enough for us and was quite rude when our leader(Principal) informed her that the potato bake was not fully cooked and ALL of had by then returned it. The establishment seemed I'll-prepared to received us and one wonders if the treatment would have been different if we were not people of color

Our 1-night-stay felt like a mini-holiday! Not only because of the magnificent view from our balcony, but also the excellent service from the friendly staff. We will definitely visit again - soon!

Please be aware This should not be called a Hotel. The service bad, the rooms are dirty. The rooms are small. Basically what you see on the internet is not what you expect. No room service. I do not mind paying but do not miss lead people. So I booked through the Entertainer. When I got there the manager was so not helpful and couldn't understand that a customer should get what they paid for and not be ripped off.
