I was a walk in client on my birthday. I asked them how to store the cake as I’d use it later in the evening. They said room temperature and specifically said not to put it in the fridge. I thought this was odd but did as instructed because they obviously know best.
Come 6pm, cake display time, the customised black icing bleed into the white icing. Cake is ruined just like that. I sent them pictures of the situation same day 03 Jan, I never got a response for weeks. They eventually respond to tell me it’s been escalated to their manager Brenda, who only responds to me yesterday 12 Feb with a 20% discount on my next order.
The actual gizzards on these people!
I knew I was buying the cake only for their nice designs because their actual cakes always taste terrible and are really not for consumption. Not only was the design ruined the cake was also awful and they expect me to spend more of my money on them?
