Rash & Breaking

I have been using old spice deodorant stick (Speed stick) for at least 3 years. I bought a few in November / December 2021, i recently noticed bad rashes under my armpits & what really frustrated me was all 3 to 4 of my sticks break alot which results in me throwing vat least 1/4 of it away.

Are they defective because of the rash & breaking?
