I have house insurance with Virgin Money and with it I have the benefit of home assist. I was refused help because i wanted home assist to send a technician to check whats wrong with my gate motor and i was told the gate motor is not part of the property i have insured with them. I do not know if the gate is not part of the property then what part does it fall under. I was told home assist means help with an electrician. You pay your monthly premiums but when you need help these insurances do all they can to avoid assisting you, i didnt ask them to pay for my gate i asked them to help me with home assist and whatever is wrong i will fix once the handyman has found the problem. <div><br></div><div><em>(Supplier name changed from Virgin Money South Africa to Virgin Insurance by Hellopeter.com)</em></div>

Im not sure how many times I have to post this for someone to contact me?<br> <br> I was insured with virgin money for various years. My polo was stolen, they paid out, I bought another polo and it was stolen again and recovered, Virgin completed repairs, It was stolen a 3rd time and virgin paid out. All 3 instances were within a secure complex. <br> <br> Virgin smsed me one day to say I was no longer covered, as \compared to what I paid to them they are currently suffering a loss with me as client\" because of them refusing to cover me I have been \"backlisted\" with insurance companies. Getting cover for my now low risk Renault was a nightmare, but on top of that the premium I am currently paying is beyond manageable.<br> <br> Insurance companies suffer a loss and in other cases they win. I never missed a single payment. I am just part of the South Africa'n crime statistics and being punished for others crime is ridicules to me. I also suffered a massive loss each time my car was stolen as buying a new one costs way more than the paid out amount. <br> <br> If you want to insure with Virgin, please reconsider. you would not like to be in this position"

Had a car accident on Sunday, contacted Virgin Money early Monday morning and was helped straight away with a damage assessment. I'm much relieved that the process was so seamless and the staff was very friendly, curteous and professional.

Had a huge problem with my insurance claim and after a few calls ended up speaking to Luke Dunpall. He was extremely helpful and tried his very best to sort out all the problems. Although the problems are still not sorted out I am at least now on the right track and have all the necessary information to contact the correct people, and hopefully the problems will be resolved today. However, I felt I had to compliment Luke on the way he handled my call and the way he tried to help. Thank you Luke, I was ready to leave Virgin but because of you I will give it another shot!

I would rate the serive 9/10. I guess im a belive of the is always room for improvement. The guy who atttended to me was friendly, went through the whole process with me and answered all my queries. So I am pretty satisfied with the service.
